Doesn't fit all air vents. My daughter has a mini cooper and the vent slots are a bit thicker so it was useless to her. It works in my car but every so often, it starts falling out. Not a bad design but it could be better.

Blah. I like being able to mount phone on vent with a magnet. Good idea but the build of this one is a little weak. It has little rubber feet that slip off into the vent. They slip off and disappear. I'm hoping to replace with something similar but w/better build.

I was really worried about several things and the mount has handled it perfectly:1) Would the magnet hold even with the curved back of my Nexus 6 (less surface area for the magnet to touch)2) Would the magnet hold the weight of my Nexus 6 + case3) Would the metal hold the phone on the mount if placed inside the case4) Would my vent hold the phone without slipping5) Would it fall while driving on rough roads, at speed, sharp turns, etc...One concern (which I haven't tested properly) is if NFC would work. I tried to test my NFC (after placing the metal plate between the phone and case) on an Android Pay reader, but it didn't pick up. That was only one test -- it's possible that putting the metal plate in the center of the phone may have affected the NFC. It's also possible that the reader didn't work.The only other concern is that my phone won't stay in landscape (it rotates downward). As far as I can tell, there are three issues at play here:1) The weight of my phone2) The placement of the plate -- couldn't center it on the phone3) The curved back (which exacerbates the above two issues).Other notes:1) I placed my mount in the corner of the vent (which braces it against the frame of the vent). That seems to work pretty well.2) I tried using both plates that are packaged with the mount, but found that 1 was sufficient.3) If you think about the 4 prongs on the vent clip -- (Right Side --> Left Side) has more gap than (Top --> Bottom). So, if you need a tighter fit, try rotating the mount 90 degrees and putting it back on the vent.All things considered, given the weird things that need to be handled with my phone, I'm super happy with this mount. The mount hasn't fallen off the vent and my phone hasn't either.

The magnet works very well. The only problem is that the weight of the phone causes the device that attaches to the vent to move around a bit. Either side to side when turning corners if vent slots are vertical or down if the vent slots are horizontal.

I bought this to hold a very small, thin 7" tablet and the weight of the tablet can shift the angle of the mount. I think folks with 6" phones will experience the same. It's great for highways where there aren't lots of sharp turns.

It's okay, won't fit some types of louvers, couldn't get it to work on my girlfriends car. If you can spend a few more dollars look elsewhere and you'll be much happier.

I was tired of the clamp style phone cradles. You needed two hands to place your phone. The clamps would either press against your power button shutting the phone off or worse the volume button muting the volume and you didn't even realize it. This cradle is pure genius. I put the metal plate in the phone case and when I get in the car I just stick the phone to the cradle. If I need to change the phones orientation I just twist with one hand. No need to use two hands to loosen a lock nut and twist and retighten. The magnet is so strong that my phablet has not shacken loose even over the pot hole strewn streets and roads of NYC. Awesome phone cradle.

This is an awesome product!!! Installation is a breeze and due to the rubberized four-pronged design it is incredibly easy to move and/or reposition. The magnet is strong and once placed inside a phone case does not seem to move around at all. I have had no problems with my phone slipping or falling off.My *only* issue with this product is the weight of it alone (without a phone on it) pulls my air vents downward BUT it ends up not being a problem at all because you can just angle the holder and your phone upward for the perfect view.This is a great product at a very affordable price. Buy it!!!
