Brilliant keeping pigeons from sitting on my trellis and making an awful mess. Also deters cats from climbing over my fence after the birds.

This was purchased as we have tried everything to deter cats from fouling in the garden. We have artificial grass which our grandchildren love playing on so to see cats fouling on it is frustrating. The spikes are well made and we wanted them for our wall at the back of the garden to stop the cats walking, the spikes are quite narrow so we have put them at diagonal lengths, the heat of the sun has made them rise a little but another screw should settle that and they do go back down. The first night we did have a cat sitting on them!! so whether it’s going to deter them I’m not sure. The spikes were delivered quickly from order and product is well made the only issue is will they deter the cats, tine will tell. The only other thing we can do is to order another lot to make the width wider?

Easy to fix. My cat not amused..birds too smart to land on it but any human might not find it comfortable!

They have stopped the little 💩s coming into my garden and digging stones and bark up. The trouble is that the cats are now finding the areas where I didn’t install the spikes as I ran out; I’ve now ordered more. My garden is looking more like Alcatraz each day but I’m determined to keep them out.

Watching my cat climb up on them and calmly walk over them indicates that these are not fit for purpose, however putting the things up cost me a fair amount of skin off my knuckles.

These are quite solid for being plastic. It recommends wearing gloves but I found they got in the way so myself and my friend had a few scratches and sore fingers Buy the screws that are recommended for it. So much easier as we found out on the 2nd pack The triple strip is quite flexible and can be cut into 3 long strip or to any size with a good pair of scissors. We found bending one strip over the lip of the wooden bar gave a 2 way obstacle., on top and in front. Be aware though some cats seem to be able to walk on burning rods of fire so a plastic pointy strip won't deter them. Don't forget to put up your warning sign that comes with it. I assume more for cat burglars than cats Excellent value for money

These spikes are large and will not harm Mr Pigeon and friends walking up or down or landing but they do reduce the amount of times they do, Mr&Mrs Pigeon thankfully do have problems landing and shall we say US time on my fence and so have to go elsewhere, These echo fence spikes are easy to install they do feel good enough quality and will last years.

Perfect for what we wanted, which was to keep the cats from entering along the fence. So good we have bought 4 sets. Definitely recommend.
