Unlike most chairs that advertise real leather, this one actually is. You can tell by the texture grain and smell and thickness that you can see through the assembly points. Real high-quality cowhide. Don’t get me wrong. It smells good not unpleasant. Like high-quality leather should. The packaging is good. It arrives in a reasonable package that is a little heavy as it should be for high-quality merchandise. I laid everything out on a rug And put it together by myself. It took about an hour. The challenging parts are the alignment of the vertical chair to the seat. Because of the high quality nature of the product, the specifications are tight and the margin for air is slim. Take your time and make sure that the bolts do not get cross threaded. The arms are , hard to align. Once everything is tightened, the chair is solid as a rock. It has adjustable, reclining levels using a tightening wheel underneath. You can lock the chair upright or unlock and recline. The chair is extremely comfortable. I am 6 foot one and 180 pounds and it’s perfect. If you are shorter, I could see how it may not contour to your spine. If you are taller it will be fine. It is a large chair. Difficult to find a real high quality leather chair on Amazon. It took me hours to find this chair and I highly recommend it.

I purchased this chair for my home office after going through several chair over the years at work and home. This is by far the best in terms of quality and comfort. I am 5' -10" and over 200 lbs. The back of the chair with the padded headrest hits me perfectly at the top of the head. Although the arms aren't adjustable they are the right height to rest my arms comfortably. The pneumatics allowing adjustment of the height are smooth. The tension adjustment that allows the chair to tilt back is perfect. The chair is well balanced and you can move around without the fear of tipping. The casting for the base and arms are chromed and looks great. Yes! It's the leather is genuine and soft. The previous pleather chairs only lasted at most 3-4 years before it would peel and crack. My last chair had more repair tape than pleather after 3 years. No more pleather for me!!

I purchased the ZURI Furniture Modern Ergonomic Sterling Genuine Leather Executive Chair with Aluminum Base on Amazon expecting a high-quality product that would last for many years. Unfortunately, after only about 3½ years of normal use, the seat cushion became completely flat and lost its support. Weight of a person using it is 160 lbs. Research indicates that high density foam should last 7 - 10 years. For a chair advertised with high-density foam, this level of wear is very disappointing. High-density foam is supposed to maintain its structure for much longer, especially in a chair at this price point. What made the situation worse was the manufacturer’s response. When I contacted them, the only solution offered was to purchase a replacement seat and seat back, and the cost quoted was more than what I originally paid for the entire chair. That is simply unreasonable and not a practical solution. Overall, the chair looks nice initially, but the cushioning durability does not match the price or expectations for a premium office chair. Based on my experience, I would not purchase this chair again.

I ordered the teal colored chair, and am very pleased. An envelope from Zuri arrived the next day, and the chair itself surprisingly arrived 3 days early (the tracking on Amazon was for the envelope, not the actual chair unfortunately). It arrived in good shape, although the roller wheels had punched a hole in the cardboard. It was challenging to assemble, in that the holes in the vinyl (I don't think it's leather on the surfaces you don't contact while sitting in the chair) and padding were off ~1/4" from where the screws go in. It took my husband and I assisting about 55 minutes to assemble (and he's assembled several chairs like this before). I would not have been able to do this on my own, as required more strength to pull the fabric and padding out of the way with the screw and line it up and actually thread the screw. But once assembled, it fit very well and feels quite solid. I've been sitting in this chair daily for several hours (4-10 total) for two weeks now, and really like it. The padding is firm. The color is as represented. I'm 5'9" and I had to raise the seat a bit for proper body alignment, so I think it would work for shorter people. My husband is 6'7" and the back is too short for him. One feature I particularly like is the seat is all one piece - I don't have to worry about the back breaking off from the seat. I am enjoying the leather - quite pampering - and shouldn't fall apart like bonded leather. I'd recommend this chair especially if you have the manpower to assemble it.

This is a really nice chair -- real metal, real leather. Assembly was easy and everything went together well and feels sturdy. I only just got it, so I will reserve judgment about how it wears over time, but first impressions are excellent. It feels good and fits me very well. I am 6'2" and my head actually rests against the headrest. Fancy that! The quilted stitching is very nice and gives it the luxury car seat look and feel. I was apprehensive about spending this king of money on an office chair, because I was concerned that it would not be that much of an upgrade over the lesser chairs. Not so, you get what you pay for.... at least with this chair.

To start of, I'll echo what other's have said: the chair itself is as beautiful as the pictures and is made of very high-end material. Though the chair itself is very well made, the other assembly parts....not so much. The holes weren't fully made in the leather, making putting in the arm rest screws a long endeavor; and the screw covers were cheap plastic and one literally did not fit at all (a common issue mentioned in the other reviews). I will say that this chair is built for a VERY specific height range - and it should be noted in their product description. Myself being 6'1, this chair fits perfectly; however, if you're not in the range of 5'10 to 6'3, this chair likely will not be comfortable. I'll also add that this chair takes some getting used to. During my first day having it, I swear I thought I was going to return it because of the posture it made me sit in. After about 3 days or so, I could easily say this is the best chair I have ever owned and worth every penny; it as, as many before have said, like sitting in an Audi A6. I would highly recommend it (granted you're between 5'10 and 6'3).

I have had this chair for seven years and I think it's about time to give a point-by-point long-term review. The least reliable part of this chair is the arm rest connection point. There is a small, angled metal bracket that connects to the rear frame of the chair with a screw. This screw is underneath the leather and set back about an inch under the back cushion. So, it's not something that a person can get to without cutting open the leather. After 7 years, this screw has become loose leaving the arm rest loose. There is a tilt function on this chair, but I rarely use it. It takes a little bit of force to tilt the chair, and it can tilt forward a little too much to be comfortable. The air shock still works. It just takes a bit of time to go up compared to new. At first, I thought the padding might be a little thin, but it's enough for me to have a comfortable bum. The wheels work well and don't pick up that much debris compared to other wheels. I should probably remove the debris since I haven't done so since new. The polish of the metal components is still there and can look nice with a bit of time at the buffing wheel. The leather has held up very well. This is why you should opt for the more expensive leather option as opposed to bonded leather. With bonded leather within a year, it will start peeling. The leather after 7 years is still good to go for another 7. Cleaning the chair is easy due to the design. With a brush, vacuum and leather/metal cleaner, it's easy to refresh the chair. As an aside, I would like to see a new type of chair. Most of the settings of the chair will not change once it's initially setup. I think having a chair that doesn't have these functions like the height adjuster would be nice.

Chair looks good. Sturdy, heavy weight. But within less than 3 months of use, the chair cushion is already flat from being used daily. I'm now stuck sitting on basically a piece of wood all day long, instead of a comfortable chair. Unpleasant and miserable. If you're looking for something you're going to use for maybe an hour or two a day, great. If you are using this for a home office, stay away. Absolute garbage quality.
