With multiple athletes in our home, these are the best bang for the buck. They last just as long as the name brand ones in an althete's big box store. They are a little thinner but because it is a single piece of plastic, it doesn't tear up your mouth after multiple uses.

I spent 10 years going to a pain clinic EACH and EVERY month being treated for occipital nerve pain. Many shots, many pills, too many doctors to name...then FINALLY a physician made me an appointment with a TMJ specialist. Cost me $1,800 to have a special mouth piece made... 4 months to work up to only using at night. 2 more months and I was out of the pain clinic and off the pills...!!!!! YEAH. BUT, the mouth piece they use is only for the very front teeth because you grind the back teeth and if you put pressure on your front teeth at night you automatically back off. Hard plastic like a partial attached like a retainer. This was GREAT - but, the clip on like a partial did break a piece out of my tooth / crown AND I found I was tap, tap, tapping my teeth and the sound woke me up. I started using the youth mouth pieces and fitting them on my front teeth only - even trimming them when necessary. With TMJ it is impossible to sleep on your side as that causes jaw misalignment and sleeping on my back I have to use a mouth tape (sleep in zero gravity position with adjustable bed - yeah, I'm high maintenance) so I have no problem with the smaller area covered. The back teeth some people actually have removed to relieve the pressure from grinding teeth. I've had 3 of mine removed because of what the pressure over the years did. I had worn mouth pieces over the years - but, full mouth pieces in my case have proven to not be the answer. This if a great size and fit and easy to use ... suiting me perfectly.

They are quick and easy to mold. They don't hold shape that well when molding. And there are pletny of other mouth guards that are much better. Though these are a great and inexpensive back up for the coaches who have fighters always forgetting their mouth guards on sparring day.

I got these to beat the high price of mouth guards at Walmart when stores stopped carrying the $1 Wilson brand after the covid lockdown. Never used them so far because there is no info on the packaging what chemicals are in them. I use cheap mouth guards as a retainer during sleep to protect against teeth grinding instead of paying the $100s dentists charge to make them. Unfortunately they turn a less than pretty yellow as they age. Luckily I found several Wilson brand guards bought previously tucked in a bathroom storage container. No idea if the chemicals used in Wilson are any safer than the BHA no longer used.

I guess you get what you pay for but these do not shape to form when you warm them up in water as the directions show. You can boil the water and they still don't do anything. I tried it with more than one to see if I got an odd one. Nope.. I have tried many things to get them to shape and nothing works at all. So it. makes me wonder just what they are really made of. I am going back to spending more for them but at least they Melt down to shape it to your own mouth. would not waste my money on these

I use these for sleeping!! Thinner than store bought. GREAT!!!

These are smaller than the adult ones I used to buy at Walmart for about a dollar each. Even though they are smaller I've been alternating these every other night with my Walmart Wilson ones since Feb23. I haven't had any problem while sleeping even though these don't fit quite as tight simply because there is less material to conform around my teeth. I managed to destroy the first set I tried to mold because I left it in hot water too long and it turned into a noodle. A few seconds is sufficient. I'm still using the same one I started with in Feb. After use I clean it in soapy water and store during the day in a cup where it is covered in mouthwash. I use the mouth guard because I unconsciously grind or clench my teeth. This helps relieve a cause of the head pain I would sometimes have. A worthwhile purchase at a good price.
