I got it to solve our road trip dilemma, how to get snacks and such back to the kids while driving (passenger and driver) since you cannot reach the back seat even if youre the copilot. We have three young kids, so I also needed to be able to open things when needed for toys and food. This net was perfect! It is plenty big for snacks and is long enough for the kids to grab the net and take snacks out all the way in the third row. It is a sturdy metal pole so it withstood toddlers pulling at it. It screws together easily and unscrews just as easily so you can store it in a basket( we keep a target plastic basket for misc things in van and it fits perfectly ). The only thing I imagine would be an issue is the ease of the unscrewing. It would get loose as we used it throughout our trip, but it doesn't bother me any.
