Nifty little thing
Amazing amplug. It's the perfect solution for when you want to play with distortion or som effects but can't play on a regular amp due to how loud it would be.

Very good
I wish I'd bought one of these ages ago (so does my wife!)Simple to set up and use, decent sound although the effects mode could be better, a little more distorted rather than 'bangy'... I would recommend decent over ear headphones for plenty of bass

Works great but doesn’t stand up to heavy usage.
Worked as described and was very useful for a while for my teen daughter using with both headphones and a stereo. We had just bought her first bass and weren’t sure if she would stick with it or if it would just be a novelty for a while, so bought this to go with it. In fairness she used this every single day, the only down side is the build quality, she went through 2 of these in 9 months because it comes apart where the guitar jack is. The wires soldered to the jack are so thin and short they come away too making it very difficult to repair.

Brilliant little gadget for Bass guitar.
This works great with my 4 string Ibanez for quiet practice sessions.I read a few reviews on the Vox version that mentioned it didnt pick up low frequencies very well, but no problem with the Blackstar for me.The drum tracks are good and the Aux-in is an excellent feature that let's you listen to the track or video tutorials from your phone or pc whilst playing at the same time.

Pleasantly Surprised
I bought this for my office (I keep a travel bass in a gig bag next to my desk) for those 'upcoming rehearsal/audition and not had the time to practice at home' lunchtime runthroughs. It's great! A wide variety of tones and options mean that it's actually fun, rather than simply functional, to use. Plug it into the output jack of your instrument, attach earphones and play. There is even an aux input socket for an mp3 player/phone. No complaints.

Just the job
This is great. Sounds meaty and loud with my Yamaha BB434. Heartily recommended.

Great sound but the Gain control crackles every time you adjust it sadly.
Really great tone, I had the VOX for years and thought I would try this as it has some beats built in to it. Love the tone it is crisp and concise with punch. Gain control crackles every time you touch it and the plastic casing is super cheap.Returning postage labels were a total hassle also, all we needed was a QR code but instead have to print off their specific instructions which didnt fit on the package at all. Down £34 for the item and an additional £4.10 to send it back.

Perfect for practise either bass, acoustic or electric
Easy to useGood sound quality (make sure you use quality headphones)Can plug it into multimedia speaker and sounds better than a practise amp (with a JVB speaker sounds amazing)Rythm patterns are cool and a nice extra feature

Perfect For Practice While Travelling
I bought the Blackstar amPlug2 so I could practice bass while I was on a road trip with my family. I wasn’t sure what to expect in terms of tone and overall functionality but I was not disappointed. If fact, I was really surprised by how many different sounds I could get from this little amp. The sound quality is very good with nice clean lows, clear mids, and crisp highs. There’s a built-in overdrive that sounds awesome, a classic sound that is like a vintage thumpy tone, and a modern channel that has really nice resonant tones. There’s also an aux port so you can plug in your phone or another source to play music or backing tracks while you practice. As if all that wasn’t enough, it also has multiple built-in drum loops to jam with to help keep time or just to have some drums to play along with. You don’t need any guitar cables or power supplies since it plugs directly into your instrument and runs on 2 AAA batteries that last a very long time. Just don’t forget to bring your wired headphones and some extra AAA batteries if you’re going to be using the amp a lot. Overall, I don’t have any complaints about this little amp. I’m home from our trip now and I still use this amp when I just want to quickly plug in with some headphones and practice or if I want to practice in a different room then where I have my amps set up or even outside. As a side note: I have pretty good over-the-ear headphones that I use with this amp. You should probably have headphones that can handle some bass or you might experience some clipping or distortion. If you’re looking for a good travel amp, need to be able to practice quietly, or just want something super portable this is the amp for you! Honestly, even if you have a great studio setup, having one of these around is still a great idea. It’s such a convenient solution for quick and/or quiet practice sessions I’ll keep one in my bass case for the rest of time.

Top product for quiet practice
The metronome/realistic drum sound time keeper is quite nice (but a bit difficult to control). My only bad comment is the fast consumption of batteries…Top product!
