Just needed to replace the igniter module itself, not the wiring. The written instructions are terrible. Please view the youtube video and it will save you a lot of time if you only need to replace the igniter module itself, which like in the video, I suspect is all that is needed in most cases. Replacement module works great and easy to installed. The contacts are color coded to match the connectors on the wires.

I have a Weber Genesis II E-310 made in 2017 according to the serial number. The original igniter totally gave out. I looked first at Weber and the barbecue stores and all wanted over $100 for the kit. Weber's kit for this barbecue is the 66354. When I found this on Amazon I was totally skeptical, but I thought at 25% of the price I will take a chance. I am glad I did. This turned out to be identical in all visual aspects save one, and that is the battery door. On the original part the negative terminal faces out, and on this one the positive terminal faces out. Other than that and the inspection stickers these looked as if they came off the same assembly line. Installation is a chore. You basically take everything apart. Weber could have saved us a few steps by making the burner port on the front slightly larger so these would slip out the front without taking the burners out, but oh well. It was easy. The instructions are semi-adequate, but you really don't need them. Tools: grab a small adjustable wrench (the ground strap bolt was a different size than the one in the kit,) a cordless impact or driver with phillips #2 and 5/16 nut driver bits, needle nose pliers, channel locks come in handy for squeezing the tabs on the button, and for my Genesis I needed a small flat head screw driver to open the wire keepers (second photo.) Give yourself an hour for the job as it's a great opportunity to clean out the grill. All back together and this thing works better than the original ever did. Excellent quality. Thanks Uniflasy (.

Best igniter out there. After 15 years of use with my Weber Genesis the igniter failed. Before I disassembled the grill, I ordered this new igniter. During disassembly, I noticed the grill needed a good general cleaning. I did a thorough cleaning and not only replaced the igniter, but the wires going to the burners from the igniter. These wires are included in the kit. Everything was clearly marked and the instructions were excellent. I actually think my ignition was faulty because of melted insulation on the far right burner wire. When all my work was complete, one push and the grill ignited. I feel as if I will get at least another 10 years out of the Weber grill. The big reason is the quality of the replacement parts. These parts are not generic. It’s the real thing. Best grill investment was buying a Weber grill. The reason is replacement parts like this.

Got the unit in 2 days. It is very similar to Webbers unit but the battery goings in negative side down. Easy to install comes with a flex protective shield for wires that my Webber did not have. The unit works great. I bought a new push button before I bought this kit it was not the switch you can check that using an ohm meter. Also change your battery before you buy this kit it could be your problem you should change it ounce a year.
