Dimaka 74cm Tall Cat Scratching Post for Large Adult Indoor Cats, 29" Heavy Duty Sisal Rope Cat Scratch Post, Sturdy Vertical Claw Scratcher Tree with Soft Plush Base - Grey

Very sturdy and my cats love the extra height. Good value

The delivery man went out of his way today and gave me a heads up that my parcel was a little heavy. Fantastic of him. The scratch post is just great, my cat loves it. It's just the right height for my cat. Easy to put together so I'm delighted.

We first bought a scratching post about 2 years ago. Both cats loved it and scratched it to ribbons, so we decided to buy a new one. The exact model we had was no longer available so we bought this one, from the same company. Both cats love having the new pristine scratching post but the base on this model was not strong enough for my big boy cat and it kept tipping over. We have put the new post on the old base and it works fine.

Easy assembly! Cat seems to like it and uses it regularly. Not too cumbersome, fits well in a small room. Quality is good, remains to be seen how long it takes my cat to rip the rope. Most seem to last about a year.

Sturdy and well made, cat is very happy!

my cat went to this right away he loves it good hight

Great product puurrfect fior my cats

This is a decent size scratch post and my boys were happy with it as they are able to get a good stretch by putting their paws right at the top! They took to it straight away. It hasn’t lasted long though, after a couple of months the rope has become lose at the top so it is sagging. I do appreciate that you get what you pay for though. It’s fairly decent but doesn’t last long.

What a great purchase! For the price and for how much my cats used it in one week alone, this thing is totally worth it!! My cats have been constantly scratching/playing with it for about 3 weeks and the fabric hasn’t been torn nor has the ball been torn off like I forecasted it would. I like how it’s tall enough for them to stretch out completely vertical. I think they like being able to do that- they used to scratch corners of doorways because they could stretch it out as soon as they woke up- no more! Love it love it love it.

Bought this for our new kitten. We have plenty of cat trees around our house but he would never use them. They’re all carpet with different wood/cardboard pieces. I figured since we didn’t have any rope on our cat trees I’d get this and see if it’s what he wanted. It sure was! He’s still small so we put it at the foot of our bed and he uses it to climb up to our bed. He loves to scratch on it. Our other cat won’t touch it but he prefers to scratch on the carpeted trees. If your cat doesn’t use this, keep in mind that maybe your kitty likes a different texture of scratching post material, it’s trial and error really. As a side note I couldn’t for the life of me put this thing together. I tried for an uncomfortably long amount of time... I imagine it was a ‘me’ issue and not an issue with the post as my husband had no problem at all. That was embarrassing to admit!

Perfect scratching post for big cats. My boys loved it but the darn ball got ripped off within the first minute Edit 6/27/2019 I dont know if it's poor construction or my huge cats but the post broke at the base. Looks like the connection to secure the post to the base is separating from the post itself. Lasted almost two months but still the best post I could find for my big boys

This was an affordable purchase for me. It was easy and quick to assemble. You literally just screw everything together. My cats love it. We don’t need anything super fancy but this was such a simplistic design and the grey compliments the rest of the house decor. It was made very well as it has not torn apart after months of scratching from the cats. I think it could use some more rope because there is a gap from the cats pulling it downward but honestly we’re not picky and the scratching post still works as it is. Not a big deal but something I wanted to mention.

my only complaint is that the ropes seem to have separated at the top, and I've only had it for a month or two. Love the height. Big enough for my grown kitty to stretch out on and helps with scratching elsewhere.
