Amazing Grass Greens Superfood Powder: Greens Powder with Digestive Enzymes & Probiotics, Organic Spirulina, Chlorella, and Beet Root Powder, Chocolate, 60 Servings

I love this stuff: I love the taste, texture and how it works. I use this (the chocolate and berry flavors) almost every day, and have done so for well over six months now. I've found it mixes easily - probably because I use a power mixer - and actually tastes good - UNLIKE Perfect Food brand superfood which tastes and smells like eating rotten grass (IMHO). This Greens Blend superfood actually smells and tastes good. The best part - and I realize this is a family channel so I'll try and keep this clean - is the effect regular use of the greens blend on the "plumbing". I've found that regular use of this particular superfood - Amazing Greens Blend - keeps everything running smoothly without prompting any crazy reactions. Other brands of superfood - particularly the Perfect Food brand - have gummed up the works, at least for me. Not so with Amazing Grass Greens Blend - all of the benefits, none of the digestive downsides.

*TASTE*I'm not too keen on the flavor, the "Tangerine" flavoring is absolutely horrid, in my humble opinion. I've tasted the 'ORAC' version, in the purple container, and that is by far my favorite. It's really, REALLY good, not too grassy, and has a subtle, fruity sweetness that I really enjoy. That being said, I wasn't in this for the flavoring from the get go, so I didn't let that simple fact hinder my rating of the product.*APPLICATION*I take one scoop in about 4 ounces of water, and get it over with first thing when I wake up, then I eat breakfast about an hour later. It goes down well, it's a tad bit gritty, but what can you expect? There's a bunch of different grasses in the product, they can only get it so fine. I do feel more regular when taking the product. I also feel more energized, relaxed, and balanced. I've only been taking it for 7 days, though, so I will be sure to update this review in 30 days.*OVERVIEW*I like the company and what they stand for, so I'll be ordering a 100 serving size of the 'ORAC' formula in a couple of days. I'm not sure that I even want to finish this container, but I shall! Waste not want not. It's a good product, and the prices on Amazon can't be beat. If you want a sense of well-being, want to boost your immune system naturally, and don't have the time or the willpower to stuff the recommended servings of ORGANIC greens and whatnot down your throat, or they're simply not ACCESSIBLE to you, then I highly recommend this product.The only downfall of the formula, in my opinion, would be that it's not a significant source of Magnesium, Manganese, Vitamin K, B12, B6 Potassium, Calcium, & Iron. This fact doesn't make or break the formula, just know that I foolishly went into it thinking that this would take the place of other supplements and nutrition, which is not the case. You will have to supplement the lacking vitamins and minerals by eating REAL FOOD, or taking a separate supplement. Well done 'Amazing Grass', money well spent.

I like most people of advanced age am Trying to prolong my time on this mortal coil. With that said I’ve taken a renewed interest in keeping my body in good health. I always have kept active in the past but I ended up Injuring a body part that made me a little sedentary and not as active as I used to be. I’m also not the greatest cook and so while I love vegetables I have to admit I’m not always good at getting them into my body. I do want to preface that I was looking for another product when I came across this one and I decided to take a chance on it.Needless to say I’m very happy that I did. Here are my thoughts on this amazing grass greens blend super food. I’m gonna come right out and say this does not taste like chocolate. Maybe chocolate with a cherry tinge to it, or a berry tinge to it. While it’s not offputting it Is it taste that you’re not gonna be used to. After about three days I got used to it. I don’t even think about it anymore when I drink it.Another thing is that it’s a little chalky, not really chalky but maybe a little gritty. I noticed it as I got closer to the bottom of the drink as most likely particles are settling at the bottom. At first I found a little irritating, but then I had to remember I’m not really blending this in a smoothie or anything I’m just using water. It probably might not be as bad as with milk or some other milk like product, but it is gritty and it is what it is. I tried it with hot water and it still was gritty. Does that mean you should drink it? Well that’s up to you. In my case it’s really not that big of a deal.Do I feel like it’s working for me? I actually do. I do notice a difference in my energy levels and my stomach doesn’t feel as bloated as I used to. I’ve also noticed that I’m not as hungry as I used to be, so that is definitely a change I’ve noticed as well. I’m not a scientist or a doctor but personally I feel like my nutrition level is a little bit better. I’m also making a conscious choice to get more vegetables So that could be helping as well.So my personal opinion if you’re on the fence I will buy it again. I’m about three weeks in and so far so good.
