Product arrived quickly and seems good quality. However, I should have done a little more research. Monacolin K seems to be the same as the statin "lovastatin" which should not be used with amelopedine (which I take for high blood pressure). Apparently both are metabolised by the liver. Amelopedine inhibits an enzyme that is used to metabolise Monocolin K - this can elevate its level potentially causing serious side effects.

The doc told me that my cholesterol was getting a bit high. Not wanting to go down the route of statins just yet, I started taking these and my blood tests have been coming back fine lately. Plenty of them in the bottle, so don't need to rebuy to frequently.
