Press brake kit includes an adjustable back stop for accurate and repeatable bends. . The SWAG Gooseneck dies are laser cut at 90° to allow for air bending. These punches are used for forming right angle bends, channels, or other special bends where our straight 90° punch would cause interference and limit your bending options.If you have used your press brake for any "special" projects you have ran into the limitations of the straight segmented fingers. These limitations become apparent when bending shallow pans or forming complex "U" bends. Check out our "Goosneck Dies" Finger Brake Hemming Dies SWAG Hemming dies perform an operation in which the edges of the sheet metal are folded (or folded over) another part in order to achieve a tighter fit. This product includes precise laser cut pieces of 1/2" plate that can be stacked in a line or welded together to suite your application. The kit consists of 32 individual pieces that when fully assemble forms an 8" long Hemming die. Typical Hemming operations are used to connect parts together, to improve the appearance of the part and to reinforce edges. "FLAT TOP" Adjustable Bottom V Die This simple concept allows you to easily adjust the gap between the bottom V die, by loosening two 5/16" bolts and siding the 3/8" thick laser cut plates in or out. This will allow for tighter bends on thinner materials and or allow you to bend much shorter pieces of material than what is currently offered with the SWAG standard or heavy duty press brake kits. The bottom steel plate has 4 threaded 5/16" holes and is laser cut out of 5/8" thick steel which sits upon the bottom die of the SWAG 20 ton press brake kits. The "Flat Top" is a self contained unit and can be removed or slid into position with in a few seconds. Review: Great product. - Excellent product. This is the weld it yourself package. If you have the skills it's not difficult and saves some money. As for the quality of the product. I've easily done 90 degree breaks on 3/16" steel. Haven't had the need for doing anything thicker, but it handled that with ease. So I have no doubts as to the capabilities of this unit. I did pair it with a Torin 20 ton air/hydraulic jack which makes for an excellent setup. When welding the threaded rod sections into the steel tubes used for the stop I found that if you set them up into their position with the nuts and clamp everything down to your welding table with the stop supports square and true to the lower die section you will have a straight and true stop guide. Review: Would be better with four way on bottom - Why not use a 4 way for bottom.
