Mostly pretty satisfied with this hat right out of the shipment
I bought the "Light brown", which is the same as the "Khaki solid", but with a mesh-sided crown. Side ordered: XL, because my noggin is not huge, but I rarely fit into women's hats -- I'm probably a 7-1/2 or 7-5/8 (60cm), so I erred on the side of too big vs. too small.Hat color looks pretty true to the picture, a nice darker khaki.Hat arrived flattened but not folded. It seems like there's cardboard in the brim to give it stiffness, so I probably will not fold it. The brim isn't lying flat right now; but I think with an iron set to "steam" that I will be able to easily remedy that and make the hat look sharp.Note: the piece of fabric that hangs down in the back to protect the neck/whatever isn't removable. I guess you could roll it up inside the hat, but doing so doesn't look/feel great. So I cut mine out, and I'm going to do a quick series of stitches to make sure any remaining hanging cloth stays tucked up inside the hat and looks tidy.I put out a lot of heat through the top of my head, especially when hiking, so my main concern was to get a hat that could both shade my face and allow my head to 'breathe'/sweat. I've been wearing it around, nothing too active yet, but it's been pleasantly lightweight and breathable so far. (We'll see after a couple weeks of warm weather!)Note: one seam on the side of the hat has about an inch of loose/unraveling stitching. Since I already plan to do some stitching to fix the remnants of the cloth, it's no big deal to fix that for me, but if I wasn't handy with a needle, I would be annoyed to see that.Chin strap is decent length, but doesn't have anything to keep the slider button from falling off the end. I've tied a knot in mine to prevent myself from accidentally yanking it off the string. For $8.99, I think it's a great price for a hat that I hope will see me through warm weather on vacations (or as needed in daily life). Hat looks good and fits better than most similar hats I've tried on in various shops.

Great hat, well made, fits fine
UPDATED REVIEW: I absolutely love this hat- I’ve been using it while on vacation in Cambodia and it’s perfect. Before going out I pour water in it and let it get it completely soaked, then when I wear it the water evaporates and cools the hat (and my head). The sunshade also keeps my neck nice and cool as well. I couldn’t be happier with this hat!Great hat! This hat fits well and is made of a nice, semi-stiff fabric that holds its shape. I like that the brim has snaps on each side so you can clip the side up. The neck shade keeps the sun off the back of your neck, which is the main reason I purchased the hat. The version I got has a solid top and sides but they also make a model with vented top and sides (using a mesh fabric). For $9 this can't be beat- this exact same hat is priced from $15 to $24 at other places.

Color is Darker
I really like this hat overall, but I reduced it by one star because I ordered the khaki and it's much darker than it appeared on my computer screen (see my photo) -- it's more of a light brown color. It fits as expected, and it has a long draw string, which allows you to take the hat off and wear it on your back with the string around your neck when you're not in the sun. (Most sun hats I've ordered have short draw strings that will choke you if you try to put the hat down on your back.) The flap in back is also longer than most (another plus), but not too long. If I had a wish in regard to the flap, I'd make it reach around the sides further. As it is, it provides great protection only to the very back of your neck leaving the sides exposed. The material and workmanship are very sturdy. Overall, a VERY good hat, especially for the price.

Jeepers, They're Swell!
I bought two of these hats and they are dandy. I bought the Mossberg camo and the Savage orange camo. I normally wear a hat in size 7- 3/8 (24 inches or 61 CM). These hats are big enough in the XL size. The Savage orange hat is slightly larger than the Mossberg camo hat for some reason, even though both are XL. I am well pleased for the price. I am especially pleased with how well the Mossberg camo works as camouflage in this area in the spring. I would rate it superior to Realtree and nearly equal to Mossy Oak. Construction isn't too bad. And they look pretty nice; certainly far better than wearing a goofy baseball cap when you are not playing baseball. I am not one to wear a hat, generally speaking, but wearing orange is always a good idea during hunting season. I treated them with permethrin tick repellent and waterproofing so they are now my go-to turkey hunting and mushroom hunting hats, especially when bugs are bad.

Good value
Wide brim. Delivery package prevented crushing. Neck protection works. Good strap with device to secure it. Large high crown keeps it cool. Color as shown on Amazon.

Great fit, terrible brim
My head is pretty big and I have zero success trying to find a good sunhat that will fit. I have about a dozen in my closet, worn once and give me a headache. I bought this hat in XL and it fits my head absolutely perfectly. I usually wear a baseball hat size 7 1/2 or slightly smaller.I can't give it a perfect rating because the brim came creased and mashed. A week later of use and it still looks like a jelly fish and more than one person has called it "ridiculous". I agree. I would be SO HAPPY to have a hat with a nice solid brim. Its actually super disappointing.
