Can’t fault these. Great replacement for broken vintage or vintage style hanging lights. I only needed half and the wiring terminals in the end, which saved me having to attempt to loosen the screwed fitting behind the lamp shade, but very happy to have the capability to fix the lamps with these and a second spare to boot. Would equally work to build your own using your preferred lamp shade or glass jar.

Really well manufactured and simple to fit, particularly like the screw fix for the wires, so many of the push fit versions have given way in use and this item replaces them so easily.

Bakelite (Polyoxybenzylmethylenglycolanhydride)? No, I doubt it. Just run of the mill plastic. However, fairly good quality E27 lamp holder. Just make sure the information enclosed is read first re assembly.

Did the job but not the most robust Bakelite as wall thickness is minimal

I ma very happy with the product quality, it has no instruction on how to install but easily found by following the directions

My units had dodgy threads , I had a tap and die set so all ok in the end

Can’t believe people are complaining about missing instructions - I’m a hairdresser & figured it out without Google ! So simple & yes there are instructions on wiring it up

Bought to replace broken fitting , not believing I would find an exact replacement. Very straight forward to fit with clear instructions. Would have preferred it in white but black perfectly acceptable. Very pleased.
