Excellent value and performance.
Agree with some other reviews that this is probably the best mini-trimmer on the market. Great value for the money with the dual heads and performs very well. The guard for the trimmer is a great feature I have not seen on other products. Time will tell how long it lasts as it does not feel like solid, substantial construction. The battery life has been good so far. Even if it lasts a few years, for the price, well worth it.

Works well and is well made. Better than most.
Wahl is a good name brand who makes good equipment, and this is no exception. Sturdy construction compared to most any other trimmer out there. This should last a good long while. Pros: Construction is good, well made. The cutting edge is strong, works well, and has the power and force to cut even clumps of hair. I've had generic ones that bind with too much hair at a time (trimming around ears/sideburns). This one it is no problem. The unit is run on batteries, so no heat buildup, and stays cool to the touch. The handling is nice and gives it more overall length, makes it easier to handle. It also has good attachments that work! The trimmer and attachments are all easy to use and clean up very easily. All in all the performance is top notch. Cons: Its a lot stronger/faster, so it is a lot louder. When trimming ear hair, it is really loud, almost too loud. Its on the verge of hurting my ears it is so loud. I only run it around my ears for a short time, but man is it loud. Thoughts: I'm more than willing to put up with the extra noise to have a trimmer that works as well as this. If/when it breaks, I'll buy another one (unless Wahl makes a quiet version, then I'll buy that one!).

cheap but works
I can recommend this—not because it’s going to last forever (it probably won’t, and it may not even make it a few years), but because for $10 it actually works. The build quality is clearly cheap. No pretending otherwise. That said, where else are you getting a functional piece of electronics for ten bucks? My eyebrows were getting bushy and uneven, and this handled it immediately. With the guard off, you can do close trimming and basic shaping. With the guard on, you can trim length evenly. I could also see it working for light beard cleanup or sideburns, though it’s small—you wouldn’t want to do your whole face with it. It’s pen-sized, fits easily in a toothbrush holder, and runs on a single AAA battery. For what it is and what it costs, it does the job. At $10, it’s hard to argue with the value.

Still working
I gave this 5 stars because I bought this in November of 2025 and it's still working. Also, Wahl is a great company and backs it up for several years. The cut could be a little better, but look at the price and the company's warranty. I still get a good cut, but it may take a touch longer. So what. It's still working not like the other fragile nose trimmers that are breaking at a fast rate. The bottom line is that it works fine and is lasting and the company is Wahl. That's enough to make a decision.

Has some issues!
The unit is small, and not as easy to use as other brands. The first time I used it, it pulled a mustache hair instead of cutting it. It was quite painful and unexpected. I tried it again the next day and it worked fine. It can be cleaned under the faucet, which is a plus. The different attachments are easy to install and remove. Overall it's a nice tool, and I would have given it 5 stars if it had worked fine the first time.

Great price, works amazing
10/10. Easy to set up, easy to use. I've had trimmers in the past that bite while you are trimming your nose making it really painful. This trimmer runs smooth, doesn't clog and is so small it fits in your pocket. I keep it in my glove box in my car and use it before work every few days to avoid any embarrassing moments as I tend to not notice my nose hairs until I am at work on a bathroom break. Lol! Priced nicely too!

Best Nose and Ear Trimmer
I have gone through numerous nose and ear trimmers before finding this one. I refuse to use any other trimmer. Thankfully, they are inexpensive because they will wear down after 6-8 weeks. I buy them three at a time.

Poor reliability
When it works it does the job , but it falls apart quite rapidly. The mechanical link between gears is problematic and at times you need to move the head left to right to reengage the gears. When it does not rotate at normal speed, you wonder if it's the battery or if it's the gears. Don't expect to last it more than 1 year., at least it was my experience with two devices
