Programming Elm: Build Safe, Sane, and Maintainable Front-End Applications 1st Edition

This is a good and easy to read introduction to the language Elm. It also covers installation and good development practices in the Elm environment. It doesn’t cover web page design, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.If you know and use some programming language then it should be easy to follow along. If you already know and use a functional programming language then the explanations often become a bit too verbose. Knowledge of the web technologies mentioned above is good to have but not strictly necessary for this book. You will need it if you plan to use Elm in the real world though. A good read nonetheless.

Excelente libro. Uno de los mejores que he leído de la editorial “The Pragmatic Bookshelf”. Recomendaría escuchar el episodio 45 de “Elm Cast” donde Jeremy (el autor) cuenta la historia detrás de este libro. También, para completar, recomendaría 2 video cursos de Elm de “Frontend Masters”.Muchas gracias al autor por este libro!
