This is probably my favorite Skinfood mask. I have been a fan of the brand and their exfoliating masks for years now. Now, we all know that the whole "physical exfoliants are so bad for your skin" myth is not true. There was a point in time where it was so demonized, I was even ashamed to admit I used a face scrub. But truth be told, chemical exfoliants just do not work for me and I know others out there are the same way. Right now, it's winter where I live and it's VERY dry. So I can't use their sugar mask as that one can be a bit harsh for this time of year. This is why I love their rice mask, because it's still exfoliating but it's so much more gentle and it's brightening on top of that. If you have dehydrated skin or are new to physical exfoliants, I highly recommend this rice mask. I massage it into my skin, leave it on for 10 minutes, and then massage it again with warm water and rinse off. It's literally so gentle and it makes your skin soft and more even toned after use. When the weather is more normal, I tend to go for their sugar scrubs, with the strawberry one being my favorite. All of Skinfood's masks are fantastic and I recommend the brand to everyone I know.

I bought this thinking this was a face exfoliator scrub (lol) but, I obviously didn't read it correctly. However, I gave it a shot because I do love the products from SKINFOOD as I used this in my middle school days. Easy seal break off. I opened the package and smelled like straight up rice, WHICH IS NOT A BAD THING, i pleasantly enjoyed the smell. rubbed on dry skin and left on skin for a few minutes (applied as directed) and my face was soooo smooth. As this wasn't the product I intended to get (a face scrub), the results were what I wanted to begin with. I even saw my complexion brighten a bit, evening my skin tone a bit. I have had this for almost a month and as someone with acne prone skin, I didnt break out! I enjoyed this product and will continue to use it. Its definitely worth it as the price should be worth more for how much it did for my skin!

I like the way it makes my skin feel but the fragrance is too much for me. I feel like it's so strong it's nearly given me a headache.

This rice exfoliating mask is really one of the best I’ve used! I still use this and it brightens my skin as well as exfoliating and it really makes my skin soft. It lasts a long time as you don’t need much.

I wish I discovered this earlier it’s amazing the glow after use oooh so beautiful i recommend it 100% so gentle to the skin too,try it it’s worth every dime.

I like almost everything! The scent is pleasant but not overpowering, the consistency is serviceable, the grains aren’t rough, and my skin seems to enjoy it. It leaves a calm and moisturized sensation upon rinsing. I only wish it was a little bigger. But that could just be my american ways. You dont need much anyway I guess. Chemical exfoliants will always be superior to physical ones in my book, but this mask is still a good tool in my skincare. I’m glad I tried it

I bought this once to try it and i’m going to buy it again and again! This product is surprisingly good! It doesn't dry your skin at all, in fact it moisturise it! I loved it so much! Thank you!

I love this mask! Honestly I’ve tried so many masks from the drugstore that just left my skin okay. This leaves my skin hydrated, fresh and glowing. People will say some of the ingredients may cause outbreaks. I have dry sensitive skin due to my history with eczema and this didnt break me out. If you have acne prone skin, do not scrub in if it’s your first time using it. Scrubbing may break certain vessels on top and spread the acne. The texture is really nice. Has these small grainy things that seem to be like half cooked rice particles and contains a good portion of rice bran water and personally speaking, I’ve seen the brightening effects and softening effects after the first use.
