Le Creuset 16 Piece Cookware Set (Cerise)

This is a great starter set of Le Creuset cookware. It is a bit heavy but that is to be expected of cast iron. The red/cerise color is beautiful, kind of tomato red on top fading to a dark brick red on bottom. This is high quality cookware and will probably be inherited by family members later on.

I love enameled cast iron cookware, and have other brands in my kitchen as well. Considering everything, I highly recommend Le Creuset!

The look is sharp, but the quality of equal heat makes the set great and the food better.

Do not cook over high heat on top of the stove!! Top of stove burner heat low to maximum medium heat. Anything higher will cause food to stick and damage the enamel. I made the mistake cooking on high heat on top of the stove and the enamel was popping off inside the pot. Luckily, when i shipped the damaged pot to the company , it was replaced with a brand new pot. The customer service rep told me never cook on the stove higher than medium heat; because, it will damage the pot.

When cooking, it sticks to the bottom of the pot, which is not easy to handle, easy to be scalded, too heavy and difficult to operate.
