Cast Iron and Carbon Steel Seasoning Wax 1.5 Oz Restore Kitchenware (1Pack)

Started using the Knapp Made Cast Iron Seasoning Wax on both my cast iron and carbon steel pans and it’s honestly one of the better maintenance products I’ve tried. Using it a single time already improved my seasoning more than most other products. Super easy to apply, doesn’t get sticky if you use the right amount, and leaves a really smooth finish after seasoning. I’ve noticed my pans are darkening more evenly and cooking smoother compared to when I was just using regular oil. Also like that a little bit goes a long way, so the tin lasts way longer than I expected. Feels like one of those simple products that actually does exactly what it says without overcomplicating things.

This my new "go to" for seasoning initially. These were my grandmother's pans. They wee stripped bare and seasoned following instructions to pre-heat before applying and higher heat. Good result.

This is the second one I got. I bought one for myself and then one for a gift for my brother. I LOVE this stuff!!! It's a small size, has no smell, good value, good quality and not sticky at all. Makes everything slick and is colorless. Brings out the wood tones and makes pans look like new.

I really like this product. I have several different sizes of cast iron pans and I applied this product. , wipe out the pan with paper towels after use and I’m good to go, . Occasionally I’ll have to wash the cast iron pan depending upon if I inadvertently burned something and it stuck on. But I immediately dry it with paper towels after a soapy water wash. I’ve had zero rusting of my cast iron pans.

Simply do not have enough appropriate use to give it a “score” at just yet. I will say that the product is DEFINITELY better than vegetable oil. I certainly do not have a negative experience with it, and thus far has my approval, but cannot yet confirm it with a 4 or 5 star rating, although I believe it is heading in that direction!

This product comes in a very small container, and at first I thought it was going to prove to be expensive . A very thin coating, done 3 times with heating in between (directions are included) seasoned my DeBuyer carbon steel pan better than any other thing I have tried. It will last a long time, as it is not necessary to use it often. I would definitely recommend this.
