Yes, and it is a very reliable pump.

The pump is rated for 20GPM out of the meter, not the nozzle. After installing a filter, putting on a hose and nozzle you are looking to drop approximately 6GPM to end up giving you approximately 12-14GPM total.

Can you install it to a 80 foot hose and expect it to work properly?

Using 80’ of 1” hose with the FR711VA will drop the flow rate to around 7 – 8 GPM. If you increase the hose diameter to 1.25" - 80’ of 1.25” hose, the flow rate would be around 12 GPM. If you go with 80’ of 1.5” hose, the flow rate will be around 18 GPM. Hope this helps
