An inexpensive way to automate your water shutoff.
For the price, this is the way to go if you want to automate your main water shut off. No plumber needed and installation was easy. You have to make sure the center point of the smart valve lines up exactly with the center point of the water valve. Won't work if you can't make this fit happen. I did have to use a spacer to move the smartvalve farther away from the water valve. Otherwise they were touching and that won't work. I control my smart valve with the SmartLife app. I control my Govee water sensors around the house with the Govee app. I use IFTTT to close the smart valve if a water sensor detects a leak.

Works great saves us hours of waiting time
We have a vacation condo in Vermont and the condo association requires us to shut of the water main to the unit in the winter when we leave to go home. My wife likes to run the dishwasher before we leave and if we forget to start it 3 hours before we leave we have to wait for it to complete before we can shut the water off. Now we can turn the dishwasher on, leave to go home, and shut the water main off later either through a timer on the iPhone app, or manually with the app. This is great if we the have kids or guests use the condo as we don’t have to teach them how to shut off the water or worry if they remembered to do it. We can just use the iPhone app to see if it is on and turn it off if needed. Also works with Amazon Alexa with is pretty cool. It has been installed for about a month and so far so good. It has the torque to easily turn the valve on and off. Not sure how long it will last, but I will update this review if there are any problems.

It works shutoff water for possible water leak remotely
I am glad I read q/a and reviews before my install. First, best to use on a shutoff valve that has about 3/4" of free wrench space next to the lever. Mine has a small bleed fitting that interfered a bit with the bracket. My shutoff valve is on 1/2" copper tubing. Space was a problem for me and extending the shutoff valve with fittings did not work. I tried rubber under bracket, did not work. In the end, I tightened the bracket screws as far as they would go and this keep the motor stationary, slight movement on actuation. I paired the actuator with my iphone with TuyaSmart app. This app has my garage door and water leak detector control. Probably best to plug actuator into power and pair with phone before install. To pair, go to app, open to manual add page, push button on actuator for at least five seconds after the handle moves and you get a flashing light, go to phone and select "other switch" and follow prompts. Be sure you wifi is connected and know your network name and password before pair operation. Also, recently, with TuyaSmart in iphone, it has disconnect, wait, then reconnected a number of times a day. Update: I installed "Smart Life-Smart Living" app on my iphone and pair the valve with this app. This seems (does work) to have fixed the random disconnect comm. I tried to scan the code from the instructions and this does not work. In the app, and in the instructions, select other switch during pairing process. One note, with power failure, valve shuts and stays shut when power is restored, will need to monitor. On the app, green action button is valve open. I use the actuator to shutoff water to small water heater I installed in bathroom. I have a wifi leak sensor also: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WD47L4Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I also have a garage door controller via wifi: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QG7RGFW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Unit dead after 5 months seller does not respond
Unit stop working after 5 months. No wifi connectivity will not reset and will turn only on into closed position. Tried to reach vendor for warranty claim and it has been impossible to get any help. This is the second I own the first one is older and works flawlessly. I seemed to pick the wrong seller. Hope they will come through . Currently unhappy customer

Hardware works once you adapt to the valve size, software is another story....
The supplied strap that mounts to the valve is too small for a 3/4 inch valve. Had to create an extension of about one inch to get the device properly situated over the valve lever. I just want local control over wifi on the local network so could not use the Smart Home app which is a security nightmare. Flashed the device to Tasmota firmware using Tuya-convert and wrote a simple android app to communicate with the built in web server. Works for me now. Can't lose for the price.

Bough to open and close my chicken coop door. Works easily with the app
When our old actuator broke, and we saw how expensive it was to replace, I went looking on YouTube for alternatives and found a video showing how to use the valve for a door opener. With a few parts from the hardware store, I replaced our antiquated, manually programmable system with this app controlled beauty. I love the fact that it sends me a notice that the door has opened and closed even when I'm in another country.

Pleasantly surprised at how good it works!
I installed this as part of what has now become (according to my wife) a vast and overly complicated home automation setup. I have this linked to smartthings thru the Smart Life app and when one of the water leak sensors I have under and around all the necessary places detects water it shuts off the main water for the house. That sounds simple right? It wasn't, but if you are familiar with these sorts of things it's not too terribly bad. It integrates well with Alexa and routines thru Alexa and Smartthings are simple enough. I was worried the valve would be too stiff for the small motor to turn but I picked the easiest turning one I could find and used a little olive oil inside and on the handle (I actually don't think it was necessary though). I have a family member who is a plumber, he was able to cut the PEX line, add the valve and crimp for me. It took about 5 minutes to install the hardware and another 10 to add the device to the Smart Life app. I am very satisfied with this purchase, and it is 10X less expensive than the Moen version I was considering.

No product support. Unable to find the company on the internet for warranty information or repair
I purchased this in February for times when I am traveling. Worked upon installation. When home, I leave it unpowered. Just returned from a brief trip. I powered it up on leaving, then when I returned home it was not functioning. Seems to be burned out. Purchased on Amazon - they have no warranty information. Online I am unable to find anything regarding the company - Owfeel. Made in China. I suspect I will be unable to get any action regarding repair or replacement at his point

Don’t need to overspend for functionality
These work great and integrate easily with Tuya and home assistant. Make sure you take the time to tighten down the clamp, apply some rubber around the pipe before clamping for a more secure fit.
