Besides the length, what is the difference between 4" x 125' and 4" x 250' on 1" core?

To my knowledge the only difference between the two is the amount of Parafilm on each roll. Both are 4"wide, and both have a center hole or 'core' of 1" But one has 125 feet and the other has 250 feet per roll. It also comes in a narrower roll, I believe about 2" wide, which is what I have. I hope this helps, but perhaps contacting the manufacturer would provide a more definitive answer, in the event that I am missing something.

What does pm999 mean? are there different grades or types of parafilm? does the number refer to the size of the tape , or its permeability?

PM999 is the model number. We offer three different sizes of parafilm: 2” x 250’ (Model # PM992), 4” x 125’ (PM996) and 4” x 250’ (PM998).

Please can anyone tell me if it comes in the cardboard box dispenser the 4"250' core?

Mr. Cappello: I purchased the 4" x 125' roll. The box, on the top; Dispense Parafilm Through This Opening. On the side says; For Use In Your Dispenser. At the bottom on the side; a slot says 'pinch here' for a dispensing slot. The Parafilm must be cut, the size you need, off anyway. So, the box works fine for me.
