While I love that our 6.5 year old is at a great school and he has access to great technology, I am not super thrilled that as a newly minted first grader he gets his own Chromebook. Also not thrilled he has to haul it home every day and we're expected to keep it safe for the next five school years. Oh did I mention we also have a toddler in the house? Yeah. Recipe for a laptop disaster. I asked other parents for case recommendations and Gumdrop was the case mentioned the most. It arrived on time today. So far I'm impressed with: easy to read instructions and install. Fits his Lenovo 300e 2nd Gen Chromebook perfectly. Lightweight, not too bulky. Easy to remove. Easy to clean. I'm not going to experiment with dropping the device... I'm sure the 6 year old will inevitably do that. That's when we will really find out if the case was worth $35. My only wish? For $35 it could use a screen protector. You’d think there would be a thin piece of plastic to protect the screen from cracks but there isn’t. I’ll be looking for that next I suppose. I paired the case with a padded Baiocool carrying bag also purchased on Amazon. Hopefully the two cases together give this chromebook all the protection it needs for the next five years.

Did not fit my Lenovo as advertised and I checked with there automated check online. tried contacting the company repeatedly never returned my emails or calls. will never purchase from them again. writing it off.

This case reminds me of my indestructible cell phone case that has kept my phone free of damage for almost two years. No water or drop damage, and it has been dropped hardcore many times. This gives me confidence if he drops it, it will be totally fine. Whoever invented cases that secure the edges and screen, the parts that are most likely to crack open, is a genius and should get a Nobel Peace Prize. If your case doesn't look like this, or isn't made of titanium with some sort of extra bubble protection inside, it probably isn't going to work. This thing is the truth. Make sure to buy the right size of case. I love this thing.

Great heavy duty case for my son's computer. Easy to apply but have to make sure 'tabs' stay clear during application. I just used a butter knife to guide them over so they didn't get bent under.

Looks like a great case but it does not fit a Lenovo Chromebook 300c (another Amazon customer stated that it did). Had to send it back.

We bought this case to replace one that had been on the Chromebook for 2 years. As soon as the return period was up, the black rubber started coming off in chunks. The case has cracked, the black rubber has come off, and some places have broken entirely. Not worth what we spent on it.

Order 3 for my kids chromebooks . They have had these chromebooks since last year and was starting to see scratches on them so I decided to buy a cover . I was skeptical about buying something more than 20 bucks . Because scared that it would not be worth it. Ran into these and said what the heck lets give it a try. Since my kids will have these chromebooks for the rest of their school years thought I invest in something good. Let's see how they protect the chromebooks. Fingers crossed . Easy to put on , be gentle with snapping the top part only because of the screen , you don't want to crack the screen while trying to put on the case .
