I bought this to put around the exterior door in my unfinished basement. My son has set up a little office down there and it can get quite cold in the winter. I was down there the other day and noticed that you could see a tiny strip of light on the side where the doorknob and lock are located. I could feel a little draft coming from that area. I've never used silicone stripping before, but it seemed to have better reviews than the other types I've used. Now that I've used it, I can definitely see why. This silicone stripping is easy to cut, pliable and very durable. I couldn't believe how easy it was to install. Before you start, make sure to really clean the place that you are going to be sticking it, so you can get the best adhesion possible. The adhesive on this stripping is 3M, so you know you're getting top of the line adhesive. Even though it's 3M, I do like to warm it slightly before installation to help ensure the best adhesion possible. The better the adhesion the longer it will last. The 16 foot roll completely covered my entire exterior door with a little left over, which I'll keep in case a piece comes off later. I'm impressed with the quality and effectiveness of this stripping. My son said that he can tell a big difference in the temperature in his office area. I'll definitely be purchasing more to put around the windows in the unfinished basement.

Came across this while looking for some weather stripping. We put in a petsafe dog door on our sliding glass doors and ended up with a fairly large gap that needed to be covered up. This worked perfectly, keeps out the cold air from a fairly large gap. Easy to apply and stays in tact every time we open and close our sliding glass door. I even had extra to put on the bottom of our back door just for another way to keep out the cold. I can't say how long the adhesive will last but for now its perfect. I would definitely buy again.

This material works very well on mobile home doorways. The vinyl used for insulation on the doorway was damaged. We replaced it with this material. It adheres and performs well! It was easy to install after thoroughly cleaning the doorway.

The real test for adhesion was for a vertical application on my front door for the gap between it and the side molding. I cleaned the door surface but it curls off at the top for about six inches. I attach it again it which lasts a few days before it comes undone again. Overall I like it and it has made a difference in the warmth of a room. I have used it for my windows and back door, too. It’s easy to use and install. Good product.

I have a metal door, I waited till temps were above freezing and in the mid 60's. I even heated with a hair dryer after I first initially installed it as they were all crumpled on the floor. Nothing has held their adhesive. I have heavy-duty magnets holding it up at this time to keep it in place, and it effectively blocks the air, however, I have another door I'd like to use on and it's not metal so I don't know how it will work as the adhesive does not stay stuck for more than 4 hours. *** the only reason I gave 3 stars is with the help of the magnets it is keeping the cold air out of my home, otherwise it would be a 1 star ***

I ordered this a couple months ago, but never got around to installing it until now - it works great! This morning I noticed a terrible draft standing next to our outside slider door. I usually tape it up with white duck tape every year, but this creates the problem of not being able to use that door until the spring. I guess that's why I hadn't sealed it yet. With this product, you can seal the door and cut way down on the draft without sealing the door shut so it can't be used. As soon as I installed this tape on the bottom of the slider door the draft was 90% better. For the last 10% I put clear weather tape on the very bottom of the floor and the edge of the door frame. This will still allow me to open the door while knocking the draft way down. I will definitely buy this weather stripping product again.

I still have this on my front door and I bought it back in 2022. It’s an amazing product! Keeps the cold air out of the house. Easy to use! I’ll be buying more and trying out on the windows next.

Got downgraded to four stars because it still leaks air at the corners of the doors. Otherwise, it actually holds out the air from outside. It comes with enough to seal about 1-1/2 standard doors on three sides (minus the hinged side). Adheres well without removing paint.

Easy to apply, stick to the glass door but sometimes the edge of it will fell.

Bought this to minimize door draft. Works good. But some spots have to be pressed back on to door.

Product is very Useful and Nice .. It's very well with build quality. But I recommend that it's sticking material should more strong adhesive so it works good...overall nice experience.
