I love these little freezer scrap bins - they fit in the door of the freezer and hold a couple days worth of food scraps. I bought two of these since they are small. It will force you to turn your compost container (if you have to turn one) because you have to empty these scrap containers often. These are easy to empty frozen scraps out of and easy to clean.

Researching compost options can be overwhelming. Your search ends here. This fits easily into freezer and has NO smell or fruit flies. It cleans easily with soap and water. No bag requires but you can use a compost bag if you want. It’s easy to pull out of the freezer and lay on the counter as you chop vegetables. The only drawback is that it’s small. I usually have to empty it after 4 uses/1-2 times a week. That I can live with!

Moving my compost to the freezer was an absolute game changer. No more disintegrating bags, smells, or fruit flies when I waited too long to empty it. I bought this one because the size worked for my freezer while leaving room for actual frozen food and while it is a bit small, it’s working out great. I thought I would care that it’s uncovered but I don’t, in fact it would be extra annoying if it was. Just do it!

This product appears to be made of good quality. Originally I thought it would be bigger but realized that it still needs to fit into the freezer, possibly on the door. The container is made of a soft flexible rubber that will allow the compost material to pop out and be washed after. I like how it can hang in a drawer in front of where you are cutting and scraps can be wiped into it. To get a sense of how big it is, the attached picture shows one pineapple minus the husk leafs and top.

I wasn’t sure if I really needed to buy this, because we’ve just been using an old jar for the compost to be taken out that we keep in our freezer. The jar worked okay, but it was always really hard to get the frozen scraps out of the jar, and we would end up having to let it thaw some. We also couldn’t fit a lot in the jar, despite it being a big jar because the scraps would freeze in ways that would leave a bunch of empty space. I couldn’t be more glad I decided to buy this! With it being such a soft material, you can just push the bottom in to pop the frozen scraps out, no thawing required! It makes emptying it so much less of a headache. It also holds a lot of scraps, so you we don’t have to empty it as often either. It is also so convenient how it hooks onto a drawer for throwing scraps in as you cut vegetables! Everyone should compost but even if you don’t I think it would be nice to have just for that feature. Overall, a great product that I’ve loved having!

I was looking for a way to not replace the broken garbage disposal, and this does the job. Eliminates stinky food scraps in my trash, easy to acces in my freezer, or hang from a cabinet during meal prep. I add meat and pet food scraps to mine, since I don't have room for a big compost bin. With twice weekly trash pickup in my urban area, this system is a good fit for me. Small enough to fit into freezer, flexible for easy emptying. Very well made, sturdy hook. It took me a few days to develop the routine, but I now won't be installing a new disposal.

I love that this bin has a hook to attach to cabinets. It's easy to clean and is helpful to keep in the kitchen to collect compostable scraps and waste and move to compost bin or pile!

While I used this, it was not odor free. And I had flies all over my kitchen. Just put food scraps in a bowl and transfer to your freezer every couple of days. It is made of thin plastic. Parts snapped off in everyday use.

We use these to keep our food scraps in the freezer door, smell-free and out of the way. When they fill we defrost and take the scraps to our worm farm or compost bin. Pricey for what it is but does the job. The flexible silicon makes it easy to use and to fit in the freezer door. No signs of wear after being repeatedly frozen and defrosted.

This is fantastic. Easy to clean, easy to pop out frozen food scraps. Great to hang on your sink as you prep your food. I wish it was a little bit bigger, but I guess that would take up too much space. I currently get the smallest compost bags available and it still takes around 2 or 3 bins to fill it up. But over all, love this product!

This compost bin works perfectly and is easy to use. Be careful to always put it in the top tray in your dishwasher, since it will warp from the heat in the lower tray.
