A: Around 3 inches..it is been few years ..I am using daily in car..it is still as new

A: I am not sure if you can use it in bed to replace regular pillows. This is very good for car seats and I am using it for few months and helps a lot while driving.

**Q: Can I use this pillow with head wing attachment? Looking for a pillow as a go between as the wings have a hard plastic bar across the headrest poles.**
A: Supporting the curvature of the neck you need something thicker, but the elastic strap will fit around the wings.

I needed minimal back support during travel, especially more than 2 hours on a plane. This memory foam pillow provided even support, is great material and has been a simple game-changer for comfort. Perfect small size to fit in the small of my back for airplane seats that don’t have lower back support (then I use it in rental car). The existing stretch-strap on rear of the pillow may be good for an office chair, but no use for me. I compress the pillow with some stronger webbing with a clip and easily compress & store in my carry-on / backpack. Samsonite makes great reliable products, but should design a strap-compression option for travel of the exact pillow. I compared and bought multiple other options and this was the best.
