is this double knit or crisp cotton?

The nightgown is 100% organic cotton. It is not a knit. It does not stretch. It is lightweight, but not see through. Mine is light blue. Machine wash. Best to hang to dry, as it does wrinkle. The more I wash mine, the softer it gets, so it is not “crisp.” Very comfortable! Glad I got it!

Is the material soft ?

i wouldn't exactly say it was soft but it's not scratchy at all - maybe crisp would be a better word. I bought 4 of these nightgowns and I'm very happy with them if that helps at all. Be safe. Aloha.

Manufacture - re size chart xl list waist as "49". appears incorrect. why is hip measurement not posted? what does this mean?
