Beautiful cat home
This home was pretty easy to put together. It didnโt take very long maybe an hour. There is a pine smell that didnโt seem to bother my cat. Iโm sure this will decrease with time spent outdoors. I didnโt need to use the step or platform for the entrance, the cat prefers to enter without it. The entrance is pretty small as you can see in the photo, which made entering with the platform really awkward for him. My cat has a smaller fabric house that he was using before so I put it inside there to help him adjust to the house. He doesnโt seem to care about the exit in the back so not having it accessible wasnโt a problem for us. This keeps my cat dry in the rain and gives him a nice place to sleep in the shade. I have a heating pad in there too but havenโt needed to use it yet. It could probably use some insulation for winter because it doesnโt have any, but for now it wonโt need to be modified. I am very pleased that there are adjustable feet on this box as I have an uneven patio! Also itโs actually really beautiful in person. Would recommend this house for your cat. Update: we had a big storm lots of rain, you know the sideways kind, thereโs a small amount of water coming in from the front entrance. The rest of the house remained dry inside! The wind was blowing so hard and I was pleased to know my cats home wouldnโt blow away like his old one did. Still happy with purchase. His other fabric house was useless in comparison. Update: Mr kitty passed away not long after I got the house, but a new stray cat came along and she has been living in this house since he went to the rainbow bridge. Mrs kitty is enjoying her home. She sleeps in it every night. I have winterized this house for the winter to include a heating pad and some insulation and a cat bed. I have added some pictures. Blocking the back entrance was not a problem for her, it also helped with drafts during the windy days. It is not nearing spring and the weather here is warming up. I will be able to easily remove the insulation sheets and use them for next year. As for the paint it has faded a bit so I plan to give it a touch up this spring. Overall this house was a great investment it is study and my cat feels safe inside.

Worth Every Penny!!
This little kitty house is wonderful!! I have four feral cats that I have cared for, for years. I live in Oregon, where the falls, winters and springs are very wet and sometimes snowy. I hated that my kitties would have to seek shelter under an overhang of my house. Since buying this about 2 months ago, weโve had more rain than usual, and my kitties LOVE IT!! I check the inside frequently and itโs dry as a bone! The slanted roof and raised sides keep the rain from going off the edges and just letโs it roll of the back. The roof lifts up and has a locking hinge so you donโt have to hold it to clean the inside or change out bedding. It comes with a thin wooly mat for the inside that is a thick nylon type material on the underside. I see that there is also a heated mat that I intend on buying for it in the future. This house is super sturdy, and I love the little flower box on the side and canโt wait to plant cat grass and catnip in it in the spring. My neighbor assembled it for me and he added some drill holes to the bottom of the flower box for drainage. There is an escape door in the back that is similar to a kitty door in case some other small animal tries to come in when theyโre in there, but, the openings are small enough that a full sized raccoon or skunk could not fit. (I have both raccoons and skunks around my house as well as the occasional coyote!). I love that I know that my kitties are safe in there. There are small circle windows in it so it lets in some light and they can also look out. You can remove one of the circular plexiglass windows to put a cord through for adding the heated mat or a small camera (which I canโt wait to spy on them in there! Lol!) The construction is SO STURDY! My neighbor who put it together is a construction guy and he was really impressed with both the craftsmanship and how well it is built. Overall I am so pleased with this purchase! My four ferals fit in it well, and two of them are pretty portly! Lol! Of course, they pile up on each other, but I think even if they didnโt, they would all fit comfortably. They all went in it within a day of it being put up. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with outside kitties or ferals!! And even though it was for my kitties, it came just before Christmas and felt like a gift for me! ๐ ๐ ๐โโฌ โค๏ธ

SOO cute !!
We chose this cat house based off a YouTube review we came across, and the color being an exact match to our house made the choice concrete! It took about an hour to put together and it really is a solid piece of furniture. Our mister feral hasnโt been inside yet, but itโs only been about two weeks. Itโs very big and spacious, though I wish the entrance flap was a tiny bigger as my feral is quite big. I canโt say how this will hold up in the Florida heat, and I will update after hurricane season, but the material seems solid and we like that itโs risen off the ground, hopefully this will help with moisture. The inclined roof also helps with the rain and he likes to lay on top of there. My biggest con is that the escape door is usable from both ends, but that was an easy fix by putting a nail on the inside to prevent anything coming from the outside. Next week weโre going to add some insulation like another commenter posted, hoping this will help with the heat in the house, but it doesnโt feel too terrible so long that itโs in the shade. Overall, we love this house, and really hope that Mister will use it soon and that itโll last a long while !

Corgi Approved Cat House!
We bought the one story cat house for my two cats that were transitioning to being outside. I wanted a shelter for them if they needed it during the day (I bring them in at night). So far only one cat has used it and my corgi continues to try and explore inside, despite not being able to fit! The quality is very good, exactly as pictured, very sturdy and very aesthetically pleasing. It took a couple of hours for my husband to put together. No issues. Some people were leaving reviews complaining about the quality but for $110, I say it's worth the money, especially with the current price of wood. I can't attest how it would hold up in continuous bad weather. We have ours sitting under a covered patio. But so far the little rain that hits it hasn't affected it at all. I could see it getting hot in summer if you're somewhere like we are (Florida) and it not be in a shaded place. I plan on opening the top during summer to let air in or take off the plexi glass covers over the little peek-a-boo holes to allow air to pass through. A lot of other people were complaining about it not being very big. I have two HUGE cats. Both fit in the house separately and we're able to lay down fine. I think if push came to shove, they could both fit in at the same time if they were cuddled up. They didn't need the step since they are so big so I repurposed that for another use. I plan on putting some cat grass or catnip in the little planter that came with it. It also came with a little carpeted pad for the inside. I'd definitely purchase again!

cheap price = expect cheap quality
i built this earlier today, and i am not usually the one who builds things in our house so at least the instructions are beginner-friendly. you need a drill, since some of the screws have to go into flat wood. i struggled a lot because i only had a screwdriver. the packaging was greasy for some reason? (photo attached) and the gravel stuff they use for the roof gets EVERYWHERE in the box. the overhang for the front door is the only thing that attaches with dowel rods, and the ones i received were completely loose (video attached). i had to use gorilla tape to get it to stay. the whole thing stinks to high hell because of the stain they used for the wood i guess. the paint is giving landlord special. the roof was difficult to attach because i assembled all the walls first (photo attached) so i had to lay it on the ground and screw sideways. it works fine and the price was good, so i will keep it.

Amazing!
I've had this cat shelter for about a year now and it's amazing, it's sturdy even in severe weather conditions. Both my cats love it! Fits 2 medium sized cats.
