It’s not like a straw as others have said, there’s a thing inside it that moves when you suck on it and it provides resistance, like a cigarette. When you quit smoking, you’re working on quitting two parts of the addiction, the drug and the ritual. This provides some relief for the habitual part of your addiction. Placebo is a poweful thing. Close your eyes, take a drag off this and picture smoke entering your lungs, hold it there and blow out, picture the smoke blowing out of your mouth. You just did a breathing exercise that calms you down like a cigarette would. This is a helpful tool especially if you can’t wean off the nicotine, lets say, if you’re a pregnant woman and you need to stop NOW. or if you’re using nicotine replacement therapy and you want something to hold and satisfy the oral fixation. This thing is great. I got the plain old oxygen one because I’m not too sure about the safety regarding inhalation of flavorings. So mine is unflavored, just a thing to hold and suck on and bite. And it’s great. I hope I don’t lose it. It is kind of pricy but I would buy this again. I will say, there’s quite a bit of airflow resistance which is good in my opinion. This would work better for a mouth to lung smoker like myself rather than a direct to lung smoker. All in all, great safe drug free cessation product. I’m glad it exists. Helped me out immensely.

This product is an overpriced gimmick. It claims to provide maximum relief for oral fixation, but it is just a piece of plastic that you breathe ambient air through. The flavor disappears almost immediately, and the chewable tip does not provide a satisfying alternative to the physical habit of smoking. It did absolutely nothing to alleviate my withdrawal symptoms or help me quit.

If you're aware of what you're actually ordering I think you'll be happy with this. The bad reviews tend to be from people who didn't realize that this is literally just a tube with a chewy tip (that I love!) and a ball in it to partially restrict airflow and give you the feel of a drag . No oils, no flavor, no vapor, no nothing . Another thing that throws people is that it says shake to activate . There's nothing in there to activate but I'm pretty sure the reason it says that is because the little ball gets stuck sometimes and if you shake it loosens it so that it works properly. It also says to replace it after 4 weeks which at first didn't make any sense but I looked into it and they make that recommendation because it can grow a little bit of bacteria after a while. I have been a heavy nicotine user for 25 years now but I am in process of quitting with the help of this device and Chantix.

This has a tube thing in it that makes it horrible. If you're trying to draw on it like you would a stoge, it feels like trying to breathe with a real kn95 medical mask. There is nothing soothing about it. I was hoping it would help the hand/ mouth association. Instead it added to the frustration of trying to quit. If your going to take it out, try the blue side first. I started by taking off the gray side (fake filter side) first and destroyed this thing. I was hoping this could be part of my solution but I'm not going to re-buy this to potentially ruin another one.

I tried it but it didn't work for me. Its like a rubber material that I honestly didn't like. Theres no taste or smell. You can breathe through it.

I had purchased an original harmless cigarette years ago and love it, I saw this newer one has a soft filter so I thought that might be kinda cool. It's ok but I do not like how it hits when you inhale it like a cigarette, it's very hard to even draw any air. The older version I have has like a cylinder or something in it and when you inhale you actually FEEL like your hitting a real cigarette. It's ok but I like the original version much better.

My wife had a medical issue and was told to stop smoking or risk life threatening consequences. She stopped smoking cold turkey but did have serious cravings. I ordered this for her as a substitute for holding and pulling on a cigarette. She said it was a little calming but after a few days she just stopped using it. It may have helped a little but she did not use it for long. She has been smoke free for nearly three months now.

I seriously do not like writing these reviews but this was important to me and I’m sure for others. I’m sure if your like me you have read how this thing is basically a straw that just sucks air. And for a formerly scared ex smoker, now trying to turn ex vaper I completely understand why someone would think that. I have been taking chantix(varenicline). Through the first 3 weeks I could vape as much or as little as I want but the great thing about the pill is that it curbs your cravings. This product saved me and I had every thing from candy to flavored”non-nic vapes(gross btw), toothpicks, etc. but once I was able to curb the cravings this helped a lot. I laughed at the chewable tip when I bought it but I love it now. I’ll be working on my computer just biting on it pushing the little magnet back and forth. That hand to mouth as well as the ritual after food and alcohol is hard. I’m on week 5 now and doing good(I can get through 90 percent of the day without thinking about vaping. 🙌🏽 Maybe this is finally it. If your reading this I hope this helps you to finally be done with nicotine forever as well….✊🏾
