If you take pictures this is a great way to display them. This stays on all the time and does not use much power. I feel better than displaying pictures on a TV. The picture quality is good. Sound is good too.One nice thing, you send pictures to the device via the app. You do not need to be near the unit, it uses wifi. So you could give this a a gift to a loved one and send then pictures from you phone at any time. Easy to send pictures from the phone.Negatives, you need to download music to the device. You need a lot of music to keep from going crazy. Or just turn the sound off.The pictures need to be in landslide format. That allows the picture to display full screen and the full picture. If you put portrait pictures on the device you have two options. One, use part of the screen to display the picture. In my opinion the picture is too small. And landscape pictures are cut down in size too.The other option is to fill the screen. That's very good for landscape. But portrait causes the pictures to by cropped. You only see part of the picture. And usually the subject is cut out of the picture. So landscape is best. You could always crop a portrait picture then upload but it takes some extra time per picture.

With 4 kids , my walls have become completely covered with framed photos, I decided to invest in one of these - to have the ability to display them all at once..After tons of research and price comparison this one seem to be the best value with the most features..I'm overall highly impressed with it. The quality is superb with a , modern high end look to it.The image resolution and color rendition is EXCEPTIONAL!! Vibrant and crisp!. Set-up was very simple. , very user friendly!!It arrived neatly packed in a presentable box. My family really enjoys its features of auto rotating images, sound (which was impressively crisp and clear). It makes a great addition to the living room and has been great to share vacation photos and video with guests. Gotta say that I really do like this frame! And have gotten many compliments!!I will surely be gifting this to my parents this coming Christmas. Very happy customer!!Worth every penny!

This digital photo frame really looks great. I bought the model that did not have the SD card included, and purchased the SD card seperately. It was an off brand at a low price, compared to high-quality SD cards.After the digital photo frame was on for about six hours it would shut down on its own. The only way to restart it, is to unplug it, then plug it back in, because it was not responsive to the remote, and would not turn back on without unplugging and repluging it.I was had a series of videos cycling on the photo frame. I myself was not using pictures, just videos in MP4 format. I read other reviews on Amazon and saw that others had complained about this same shut down issue. Even those with actual JPEG pictures cycling have have this problem. After hours of troubleshooting and even trying different settings, nothing seem to fix this problem.Next I decided to switch the SD card out with a high-quality one, and this problem immediately disappeared! Now the frame is working flawlessly, with no shut downsIf you happen to buy the model that is sold with the SD card adapter and micro Sd card included, this SD card seems to work well without shutdowns, even though it too, is an off brand, but it works. I know this because I have purchased a second frame that had the micro SD card with SD adapter included.So, if you get this photo frame or another brand and you experience this issue, that is definitely something to check for if you are having that problem.I have not tried using the USB port, but read up on it somewhat and it actually says that the SD card performs faster, which I would think would help avoid this problem, for I did read some reviews that said that the USB port picture storage was less dependable in terms of the photo frame working properly vs using the SD port. That being said, I have never tried using the USB port.So, if you want a nice photo frame, this one I do like. The screen is bright and vibrant.The remote is it OK once you learn how to use it, but the directions are mediocre. Also you need to be within about 6 feet or so for the remote to work good, but that’s good enough for when I use it.So, the moral of my review is make sure you don’t buy an SD card thats cheap. Save yourself the trouble, get a high-quality 32 GB SD card, and you will like this photo frame.

I was not intending to purchase this and saw it while just browsing around Amazon. I already have one digital picture frame on my desk at work so when I saw this I figured why not one for the home office as well. The size looked right in the description and I like the fact that it said it would play music as well as videos.When I received the Digital Picture Frame I was impressed by the quality of the packaging so had high hopes of the product itself and I was not disappointed. The frame is sturdy and well built, it came with everything advertised. PLEASE NOTE it DOES NOT come with a SD card or internal memory, you must use your own card, in my case I used a 16gb card and I believe you can use up to a 32gb card per the included instructions.Adding pictures and music was a breeze and setting up the time and date for the calendar was also easy. I believe this will also play video but since I did not intend to use it for that purpose I have not tried that function.The pictures are crisp and clear and the calendar feature is nice, as a matter of fact that is the default feature I leave it on all the time. In the calendar mode it will scroll through smaller versions of the loaded pictures.All in all I am happy with the Digital Picture Frame for the price! 5 stars!

Positive:Product is as described.Display quality in Full HD is good for both photos and videos.Had apprehension about remote but it is sturdy and works fine.Supports slideshow in both serial and random order.Negative:Atatat is just mentioned on one barcode sticker pasted on the box and nowhere else including the manual.In Calendar mode, photo size is reduced a lot.Auto on and off is not working. I have to manually disconnect power at night.Slideshow pauses automatically, may be when no human movement is detected. But it has to be restarted manually.
