At home or on-the-go, you’ll have your home’s cooling in the palm of your hand with this smart operating air conditioner. Efficient too, it is designed to fit new and existing 27-inch sleeves. Review: Awful WiFi Integration - FriedrichConnect iOS version 2.0.25 - I'm in IT with years of experience troubleshooting so I have great patience. Hours later, no joy. The iOS app, FriedrichConnect is buggy and so far ineffective in connecting my WCT12A10A to the LAN or Internet. There is a built-in webserver on the a/c unit listening on 10.123.45.1, but I couldn't guess the correct URL to try to override the awful iOS app. Even if I could I'm not sure how I would have bridged the WiFi credentials to a successful device entry within the iOS app. I'm awaiting a call back from Tier 2 support out of San Antonio. A few observations for the tenacious folks like me: - As with most IoT devices, stick with 2.4 GhZ and temporarily disable your 5 GhZ radio in your router/access point. -After each failed attempt to add your unit as a device remember to hard power cycle the A/C unit (pull the plug) for about 30 seconds. The CnCNT cycle times out after five (5) minutes. - FriedrichConnect never found my SSID despite being only two feet away from the access point. Only the option to add a SSID manually appeared after long waits. When I specified the SSID and security protocol/type and hit next, I was never prompted for the key/pwd. Instead it gayley said my device was successfully connected. But it wasn't. It never appeared in the device list. Even if it did it wouldn't have recorded the key/pwd. - Make sure your iOS Settings > Display are at defaults. Larger adaptive fonts and bolded defaults make the dialog windows within the IOS app wonky. You don't see choices if your adaptive fonts are set too large. I never saw the option to add the SSID (wifi network name) manually until I reset the Display settings to default. I'll write back in if I ever get it connected. Review: No Service at all !! - Do not buy this product from Buildcom or Friedrich AC. Buildcom have no Service department and could not help in any case. They refere to Friedrich AC also they didn't reply on Contact page or phone. The Item worked except Wifi which was for me the reason to buy it. As it is already installed I need to go with. It is the first time I write such a bad review.

This is my 3rd Wallmaster
This unit, while smart looking, does what it's supposed to do (The fan on high with cooling is amazing) The caveats: There is a mode called "Auto" The man who delivered the unit left it on auto.It was 105 degrees that day, when i fell asleep,I was awoken, by the unit in the standby position(Auto) and my apartment 10 degrees warmer;so I never leave it on auto,as it was pointless to put auto as a mode anyway. It's timer is controlled by your smartphone,so if you do not own a smartphone there is no timer. The previous model had all those things built in. I guess this is progress? Beware of the filter which is not a conventual filter, and taking off the front cover is quite challenging.Somehow I was eventually able to open the cover on this unit, and then putting it back on, requires major patience. This must be done every six weeks) It does it's job fabulously, just the new design is a pain compared to the earlier versions) It's power makes up for its' lack of having a timer built in. As long as it works in the "ON" position this unit is a keeper for me. This unit is also supposed to purify the air in your room as well. I give it two stars mostly because of the design, and lack of built in timer.
