Reads both humans and pets!
The product came with batteries and easy directions to follow. I like that you dont have to touch the thermometer to a surface to get a reading... as that can be somewhat unsanitary. I will say that I felt the temperature may have been reading colder by 1 degree (which standard error is pretty normal with all thermometers). I really liked that it has a setting to measure pets. That was definitely an added bonus!!

Works great
First thing you need to do is calibrate it, it's not hard but once you have that done, it's accurate. I tried it on all three settings, Body, Surface and Animal. In all cases, after calibrating, the temps were correct. My main use for this will be surface temps, but it'll be nice for the other two too.

It's OK
I am using this thermometer to check temp of my dogs. I can't find anywhere in the manual where I need to direct the laser. If I take at the ear canal gives me readings totally different if I take it on the belly, for example. I suspect also the calibration is off. I really want to like this item.

It works perfect !!!
I checked the reading and compared to my other thermometers it was right on out of the box...It does have a calibration adjustment too...Gives a reading in just seconds...

Multiple uses
I like this thermometer since I can use it on my fur babies. You can use on food as well. I have always wondered if my babies have a temperature now I can check. It's a neat thermometer to use for many things.

Easy to use!
This is great for pets or children, or for anyone who is sick of the under the tongue thermometer! I compared readings from this and my other thermometer and it is completely accurate! So glad I made the switch!

Pain free to use
Dealing with sick kids and taking there temperature can be tricky but this really makes it a quick pain free process. Really accurate and no need to actually touch forehead or things

Didn't work for my dog
Cant get this to work on my golden at all! I bought this to use on my dog, it does not and you can't figure put what the directions are supposed to say. Does work for people though from what I can see.
