Works perfectly to replace OEM Franke Triflow water filter. I usually try to buy more than one at a time to lower my overall cost. As the filter gets clogged with contaminates you can use a clean ScotchBrite pad to scrub the buildup off to extend the life of the filter. Once I had one that cracked so had to toss that one but cleaning will restore the water flow.

Fits my Franke stainless filter holder perfectly. Much less expensive than Franke Triflow brands.

I didnt really want to change the tap and base, but had struggled finding the Franke filters, or replacement filters. Then along came Amazon and the Doulton FRX filter. Super easy to order, delivery lead time very reasonable, and the best thing - so easy to install. Completed in under five minutes. Back to filtered water - just awesome.

This filter works just fine on my Franke water system. No problem installing the filter. The filter works great, crystal clear water, after running for a the recommended time. Will be buying this filter again.

Very good product

I have bought these filters for the past 20 years and never had a problem. The last 2 have produced water with light brown flakes (we always follow instructions on what to do after replacing a cartridge) after a month or so of use. I replaced it, thinking there was a defect in the first replacement and the same occurred after a couple of weeks. We called in a plumber who checked our filtration system and water pipes and hoses; 2 of them said the problem was the filter cartridge. Perhaps there was a defective batch.

I was very apprehensive because of some of the reviews but, after almost two months of use, I can now say that this is a satisfactory replacement for the genuine Franke cartridges that I had been using for eight years but are now unavailable in local stores and were more expensive. This one was incredibly dusty when I took it out of the package (fine, plaster-like dust) but it rinsed off. At first (but after the prescribed flushing out procedure and 24-hour rest), there was a little more air in the water than with any of the Franke cartridges I had ever used, but it gradually cleared out over a week or so. It is as good as the Franke ones at reducing the chlorine odour.
