True to size and looks

Had the shoes for about a week now. Looking at the pics on Amazon for the shoe, I was under the assumption that with the lattice design of the sole, that these shoes would be very 'cushy' and springy to wear. That's not the case (hence the 4-star rating), but not bad overall. PROS: - Fit is true. They do run a bit longer in the toes, but not overly long. - Tongues are sewn to the sides of the uppers, so they are fixed in place and won't slide to the side as you walk. I REALLY like this feature, because I'm always adjusting the tongues in my other shoes during the day. - They are fairly comfortable to walk in all day. even though they aren't as cushy/springy as I was hoping for. To me, it almost feels like I'm walking in bare feet. At the end of the day, my feet don't feel as sore as with my other shoes, so I'm pleasantly surprised by that result ! - The large loops at the back of the shoe are REALLY helpful in getting them on. I've had no problems with them getting in the way of walking / driving, etc. at all. - So far no issues with the glue on the soles coming apart. Will update this review if that changes. CONS: - Fit is a bit snug. If you need a wide shoe, you may want to jump to the next size to see if that helps. - (and this is a minor "Con") - they do make a slight squeaky noise when you walk in them. Not overly loud, but somewhat noticeable. - I wouldn't recommend them for Running. Definitely more of a walking shoe. Overall I would rate these as AVERAGE. I paid $46 for these and don't feel they are worth any more than that. [08/26/2021 Update]: Have been wearing these now everyday this month, and I don't have any discomfort at the end of the day like I do with my other shoes (even those with my Orthotic inserts in them!) The feel to me, like I stated previously feels like walking barefoot - which I THOUGHT would be a huge problem for me - turns out it seems to be just what I needed. The sole on the right shoe is starting to peel away from the toe (slightly), but other than that I have no issues with these shoes so far. [03/27/2023] - purchased my 2nd pair. The original pair developed a large hole in the sole under my big toe that went thru to the outside, so if I walked in a puddle my entire foot got wet. Also, some of the treading started to peal off in chunks, so I had to toss them. I don't use these for yard work or running - just day-to-day walking about in nice weather, so they don't get beat up. Still don't understand why they fell apart after 2 years. Debated about getting another pair or not, but they are comfortable for me to wear all day, and the price of regular sneakers is just insanely high, so I decided to just get another pair of these and hope I get another 2 yrs out of them.

GET ONE SIZE SMALLER!! I saw the reviews and took a chance and got a 10 instead of a 10.5 or 11 like i normally would and the reviews were exactly right, a 10 fits perfectly. They are very comfortable and you can feel the bounce in your step. I'm very surprised by these as I usually buy $100 plus pairs of shoes because they just last and are comfortable. But, with the price of these I can get 3 pair to one of my normal brands. I also like that once they're worn in a bit, you can just slip them on with no need to tie them everytime! I can't say now how long they will last, but, I will find out and update my review when I feel they've worn out. But, I highly recommend these to anyone that's on their feet a lot or does a lot of walking. Plus they don't look bad either. Adding this, they 100% are not "non slip" it was raining outside and I walked into my work and it was like the bottom of my shoes were covered in butter it was so slippery. Still good shoes just don't buy them based on them calling them "non slip"

I love these shoes. They are an affordable gift in multiple colors that can go with everything from sportswear to outdoors to business casual. My husband says they are comfortable on his feet. It makes it easier for them to have more of a selection for shoes, and the women’s shoes as well because of their striking look they’re eye-catching, but not too over bearing. And the price is a great price. If you like to shop like I do for my husband, occasionally, I’d love to get him a matching shoe to a simple outfit. Well here it is!for a great price a good true to size foot fit. Again whatever size your boo wears is the size that you order in the shoe because they are true to fit. Color is great. They don’t fade. They’re good for walking. And they’re attractive shoe. Highly recommended by me my husband loves it .

Listen to the other reviews of the plastic soles causing extreme pain. The way these shoes are designed there's a crisscross hard plastic and jabs into the side of your foot tendon. I thought it might have just been a bad pair so I returned my first ones but had the exact same issue with the second pair. I bought gel sole inserts to try to make this shoe work, nope. I bought hard shoe sole inserts like the thick plastic ones that people use to increase height or whatever, NOPE! The issue is on the arch part of the foot where the material meets the super hard plastic they use to make those crisscross patterns you see on the sole of this shoe. Tried sucking it up and wearing them through the pain thinking maybe I was just being a baby about it and it took some time to break these in, i'm an idiot for that one. Months after this whole ordeal and getting a refund after Amazons great customer service team took care of me, I still was recovering from the extreme soreness these shoes caused my right foot. Pretty sure they legit injured my muscle tendon because it took a while to learn to walk correctly again with my right foot. I only wore them for a total of 3 weeks counting the first and second pair together. I can still feel a tiny amount of what is probably scar tissue. It's crazy. I ended up learning a valuable lesson though about the value of a quality shoe and ended up purchasing some Zoomx Nike shoes because i'm on my feet at work all day in a retail environment which is why I was looking for a nice stylish shoe that is still comfortable. Highly recommend. They really helped put this shoe nightmare behind me. Could have been such a nice shoe. Loved the color so much.

These shoes were an impulse buy, primarily for the dad joke. I'm also someone who is very easy on shoes. I will wear out the inside of a shoe long before there's any significant sole wear. For the price, these shoes look stylish, and are far more comfortable than I expected. Received many compliments wearing these shoes. They were backup shoes, so were almost never worn until about 4-5 months ago when my primary sneakers left the chat. These shoes probably have 5-6 months of daily wear in them, and that's about it. The problem with the shoes is the mid sole. The cross hatching, which is what provides the cushioning, bends and flexes repeatedly over time. And like anything that you bend/flex back and forth over and over, it cracks. I must come down harder on my left heel compared to my right, as that shoe is the one with almost no support any longer in that heel. Sole also doesn't last very long. For the price, these are a stylish comfortable backup to your backup shoe. If you are hoping for a quality shoe for cheap, these are not the shoes for you.

My first pair of walking shoes, switching from skate shoes, my feet I think are mainly adjusting to them from what I’m used to. But I wouldn’t wear these if you stand still for somewhat long periods of time. I work in retail and the aren’t that comfortable to just stand in. But if you are moving consistently they are pretty good. After 2 days of owning them I walked a mile of backwoods terrain and very steep inclines. Overall these are worth the money, they don’t really have much of a break in like other shoes, it’s pretty nice. But like I said I’m adjusting from flat skate shoes so my opinion may differ from others. So short term ownership I’d overall say they are good. I have a little wider feet than average and they fit pretty well, they do have stretch and do the job of a walking shoe. I would at this point buy again but waiting on the longevity and durability of these. I can say my feet don’t hurt nearly as bad at the end of a 8-10+ hour work day so I’m satisfied thus far.

I wonder how many buyers I have sent here? Goodness. Every time I wear these, some other guy compliments me on them and want to know where I got them! I have to admit, this is the first pair of outside running shoes I bought online and was apprehensive in ordering them. Much to my delight everything about the shoe has been PERFECT. I ordered size 10 and it fits perfectly. At first I thought it was very strange that the laces were a facade but the shoe is like a perfect fitting slipper. Although it does not feel like a slipper, it feels like regular laced up running shoes but there is never a need to tighten the laces, just leave the laces loosely fitted so you can simply slip your foot in and out of them. The straps at the back certainly help when you are without a shoehorn. At home I keep a long shoehorn by the door and slip these on quickly. I even have orthodics in my shoes! They do seam to breath and yet are resistant to water. The soul being lifted from the treads are not only interesting to look at, but they seem to keep your feet cool in summer and warm in the colder temperatures. (I even wear them in winter when there is no fresh snow). The treads grip the snow well, but use caution if on/near ice. The price was super reasonable. I am pleased with the comfort and quality of the shoe. And best of all, each time I wear them, someone compliments me, even women. Perhaps the bright red just attracts their eyes.
