So if you are insisting upon really sweet (diabetes & heart disease causing) heavy sugar content sauces, this may not be for you. It has a tangy, sweet flavor (Splenda) and can be used on ribs during the last minute on the grill to heat the sauce (do not cook too long with the sauce as it will burn much more readily than regular high - sugar barbeque sauce). Excellent product for pre-diabetics (read metabolic syndrome) and diabetics, and for those who wish (and need) to reduce their sugar intake and control their blood glucose levels while enjoying occasional barbeque ribs.
