**Q: How much Bromelain is in 1 capsule?**
A: Each capsule is 500mg, delivering 2400 GDU of bromelain, as it says on the front of the container.

**Q: What is 2400 gdu? the bottle since 500 mg then it says 1gm. i only need 250 mg. do they sell 250 mg? i dont know what 2400 gdu is, i dont need that.**
A: GDU is a measure of potency.  You could find a 500mg capsule from one company that might have more or less potency than this one.  The GDU is a better measure of what you're really getting.  I'm not sure whether or not you can find other sizes of the capsules from other brands.  I have only used this one.

**Q: If 2 capsules total 500mg, wouldn't 1 capsule have 250 mg?**
A: Each capsule is 500mg.  A serving size is 2 capsules which totals 1g.

**Q: How much Bromelain is in each capsule? Front of bottle shows 500mg. Back of bottle shows 1,000mg.**
A: each capsule is 500 mg.  The back of the bottle is the dosage for 2 capsules.

This is an excellent value for the money. I had been buying my Bromelain with 600 GDU from The Vitamin Shoppe, but they stopped carrying the capsule form. So, I turned to Amazon for help and I found this. Since I don't use prescription medications to control my GERD, Bromelain is a very important part of my regime. With the 4X increase in GDU, I experienced a noticeable improvement in how I feel. I do recommend this product. I also suggest acquiring a copy of Prescription for Nutritional Healing by Phyllis A. and James E. Balch, for further information. I can't say enough good things about this book The product quality met my expectations and the delivery was well within the promised time period.
