My fancy goldfish love this food and I’ve never had an issue with them getting constipated.

My goldfish seem to love this. Took them a minute to figure it out, but it's a great food and I'm seeing good health in them.

My goldfish love and thrive on this stuff. Please forgive my dirty pond, i took the pics after I'd taken all the vegetation out so you could see them. When I got these guys they were pretty pale orange and small. Just some run of the mill "fancy" goldfish from the local outdoor pond builder store. I started feeding them this (solid gold on YouTube recommended it as a good budget option) and my fish turned the beautiful red orange you see in the picture (not as red as a "show" goldfish, but I think they're as red as their genetics allow) and have grown leaps and bounds the last year. That big guy has always been the biggest, but when I got them all he was probably 4 inches generously to the tip of his tail. Now he's easily 8 (body probably 6) in just a year and a half (and that's including several months in the winter when it was too cold to feed them). I love this food and will continue feeding it as long as I still have goldfish.

I have fancy, wide-bodied goldfish. These guys are notorious for their gastrointestinal difficulties. Using a food that is specifically formulated for goldfish is critical for their growth and maintenance. This food provides well-balanced nutrition and supports GI health for them. I like the size for large and small fish alike. I think that the color support is also spot on as the golds on my fish are much stronger since I started using it. I still supplement my feeding routine with vegetables, such as broccoli, lettuce, and brussels sprouts. My fish benefit from that fresh food and fiber as well. I will continue to buy this food for a long time to come.

Switched from tetra flakes to these. So much better. My Oranda and fancy tails love it. Wish I did the switch much sooner. No mess like with flakes.

Great food for my goldfish! Small size so its great for even the little goldfish. Slow sinking pellets.

Since I dont like the idea of tasting fish food, my review can only be based on my aquarium observations. Basically, my Goldfishes have never complained to me. They seem excited when they see me. All though, I am not sure if they are excited for me, or the Hikari fish food. Anyway, my Goldfishes show no shame. They are ready to mount each other, so they can steal a few more pieces than the rest. I assume it means that it tastes good. They also seem to be digesting it well. Their intensities dont complain either.

The product is good, my goldfishes loves it and no more bubbly excretions can be seen in the aquarium.They have became more active and when they want the food they goes mad for it splashing water and my oranda started spitting water out of the aquarium which seems great, also the food is a little hard to chew so it is a worthwhile watching them chew it and also you can hear the sound of food being crunched, my small catfish can't gulp it as he/she is very small but it looks great watching him/her play football with the food. I highly recommend the food but I got the green packet of saki hikari instead of purple, so make sure to first know what you getting. The green one is for growth and under 15 days I can literally feel that my fishes are growing, except one of them who was becoming skinny as he was extremely active, but now he is of average figure. Make sure that your filter would be able to handle it as their appetite will increase very soon leading to more waste, do water changes based on that and I am not sure yet, whether the food is being disintegrated or not as Hikari claims. So far I have bought 4 packs of this product. The 1st pack seemed poor quality(pellet shape) as half of the pellets when fed didn't sink immediately, took a minute or two to go down the water surface. But as it was the only sinking pellet I dared to buy due to high recommendation, I bought more after the 1st package, and it was good, the pellet size was even and sank immediately and fish love it. Have now ordered 2 more packages and their quality has been great as well. 1st package was a fluke as it seems. They eat the pellets from the bottom of my sand filled tank and no problems.
