I am a hairdresser, I used only irons up till now. I got tired of burning my own self so much , I thought I'd give this a try. It is hot enough, the bristles swivel not to burn you. It get hot enough, it never gets stuck in the hair because of the swivel and length of bristles. It is the most fabulous hair product you will ever buy. You will not regret buying it!!! I bought one for my salon as well. The only drawback is that is does not come in MORE sizes. i WOULD BUY THEM ALL. I hope they will in the future. But this size works well for almost everyone.

My cosmetologist recommend I order this because I recently got a new hair cut with some layers and I have natural curl. She was right, this allows me to put soft waves in my hair and it has about a one and a half inch plastic piece on the end which prevent you from getting burned while you're using it. I would highly recommend it. My hair is about shoulder links. My daughter tried to use it to see if she liked it but her hair is much longer and she has enough hair for three people so it wasn't something that was going to help her that much without a lot of work. But it's not a lot of work for me. It takes me just minutes and I love it.

Don’t get me wrong I love everything about this curling iron, curls hair easily, keeps heat from scalp, heats up quickly has great qualities and works very good one major down size for Me, I use mouse after shampooing and sometimes gel, but I use hair spray to hold hair in place so a build up on bristles and need cleaning. My cheaper irons the bristles could be takin off and cleaned this one “CANNOT”…..I have tried brush cleaning, tooth brushes with small bristles, sprayed with alcohol, rubbed in between bristles with warmed,wet wash cloth gets some but with the deep groves and inability to remove bristles the hair product Drops into groove and I’ve used toothpicks to remove look at number of grooves/ bristles….YES it takes a L O N G…..time to clean.

I bought this hair tool and loved it...for the first 2-3 months. One morning a piece of the handle broke off and fell on the counter while I was using it. I taped it back together with black electrical tape and was able to use it for another 2-3 months, until I picked it up to use (after I had plugged it in to heat up) and the electrical cord fell out of the curler!! I was horrified and quickly uplugged the dangling cord from the electrical outlet. While I thought I would love this tool, the quality of materials makes it a piece of junk and a safety hazard. Buy - and use - WITH CAUTION.

I love it because it is not easy to burn yourself! It is just the right size for my short fine hair too. Also the combs on the brush are not sharp! A Great product!

Previous curling iron was purchase thru a store that caters only to hair professionals. While my wife loved that one, she actually likes this one much better. Glad we made the purchase.

It was too large for me . Gave it to my granddaughter
