I filled the bottom shelf with olive oil & bottles of water, & tada! the right weight distribution made a huge difference in stabilizing this little guy. It's the perfect size & looks just right in the space between stove & fridge in my new apartment's tiny kitchen. (I'm pretty gentle with my stuff so I'm not too worried about the sturdiness factor. If you're heavy-handed, this might not be right for you - you might consider restaurant filler tables that come in various widths.)
