The bags are not super sturdy but nor are they flimsy. I'm using them for fruits and vegetables in the kitchen and for shampoos and soap in the shower. I attached an over the door (towel hanging) bracket on the shower and discovered it was quite useful to hang one of these bags on it and use it to store shampoo and soaps. The netting dries quickly if it gets wet. I think these would be helpful in closet and pantry storage also. I would also suggest them as useful for sewing, knitting, and crafting. The bags hold a surprising amount of weight and I have not had them tear yet. I really like the way they can open/close on the bottom so that I can pull out items from the bottom without dislodging the bag from the place it is hanging. Nice product!
