Very easy to install compared to companies trying to do this right. I find that crawling on floor under the grill is difficult now! Yet the refrigerator lasted 20+ years! I got older ……THANKS WHIRLPOOL I SEE THE LOCATIONS HAVE CHANGED for placement on the newer refrigerators….NOW I hope I CAN FIND A MODEL THAT FITS MY SMALLER SPACE! Companies must consider sizes to FIT THE SPACES IF we are going to continue buying product from you!!!

Original part does what it's supposed to
It does what it's supposed to, works fine, and is super easy to install. I just like buying original parts if I can; I've been burned too many times by off-brands. Yes, it's on the pricier side. Once replaced, you do notice a difference in the water taste. The only thing I don't like is that you have to flush out 5 gallons of water, but most filers require some level of flushing; just sitting there waiting for my refrigerator to expel 5 gallons of water from the spigot seems eternal.

the water is tasting like s***. What the hell
I'm extremely unhappy with this filter. Immediately after installing, the water moved very slowly through the filter. It takes seemingly forever to fill a glass of water! Now, one month in, the water is tasting like s*** . What the hell??
