Yummmmmmy but very chewy - more so than regular gummy bears and the like. They aren't hard, per se, but require a bit more jaw strength than other gummy candy. Consider that, if you gave dental issues. I bought these thinking they might be usable during the clear liquids stage of a procedural prep. When they arrived I saw that they had corn starch as a ingredient, which I was worried about, so it was back to the pineapple gummy bears! I do plan to order these again for a general snack.

YUM! These are hard to find. So glad I can buy them on Amazon. They are chewy and a wee bit tart. the lemon flavor is legit. tastes like real lemons. The ginger is a lovely touch, not too strong. You can taste it, though, and then the little bit of spice from the ginger kicks in. LOVE this Haribo gummy flavor!

Last year, i found out that I have 5 herniated discs in my neck. One of them is placing a lot of pressure on my spinal cord. In addition to tremendous pain, it is causing horrible headaches that make me nauseous and lose my appetite One day, while shopping at a local party supply store, I spotted these on the candy aisle. I remembered that a friend had recommended ginger tea for my nausea. I bought a bag and took them to work with me. I put them on my desk and invited two of my coworkers who are close friends to help themselves. They were completely gone within an hour. On my way home that afternoon, I stopped at the Party store and bought every single bag they had left. I now keep these with me at all times. Whenever I become dizzy or nauseous, I just pop one of the candies in my mouth. They are absolutely delicious, so that is a bonus! One day, when I was at work, I was telling my friend that I had been unable to find the candy at the store at which had bought them before. She suggested that I try Amazon. I found a supplier who ships them a case at a time with free shipping. The per bag cost was significantly lower than what I have been paying locally. Since that time, I have never been without them. I just made my fourth order this week. I hope they never go out of stock!

I LOVE these gummies. A little too much, probably. I've slowed down a little since my initial infatuation, but my first box of 12 bags disappeared in just a few weeks. Now I am more slowly but steadily making my way through box number 2. I'm kind of weird about ginger. I like lots of ginger-flavored things, but too much fresh ginger tastes kind of soapy and unpleasant to me. It's the warm, zippy ginger spice that I really like, and these have plenty of that! It's the perfect distillation of my favorite type of ginger flavor, plus a really nice fresh lemon flavor too. I'm picky about lemon, too. I always have a couple of lemons in my fridge waiting to be juiced for cooking, and I love a really good lemon flavored-candy with good tartness and overall lemony-ness, but there's a lot out there that is either too artificial and sweet, or else with a bitter aftertaste that I can't stand. But this gets the best of lemon, too. Tart, citrusy, delicious, and not at all bitter. Sweet, but not cloying. These gummies are a wonderful balance of tart, spicy and sweet, with no unpleasant lingering aftertaste. Also I swear these help my throat feel better when I'm sick. It's probably mostly a placebo effect, but I've had a lot of colds this winter and I'm just as likely to grab a couple of these as cough drops, and they seem very nearly as effective.

Would have been 5 stars except for the most recent purchases. What Amazon doesn't tell you is that these are sourced from Haribo USA which, in turn, imports them from different providers. The ones that are manufactured in Austria are truly excellent - nice lemony twang with the gentle warmth that comes from real ginger, texture more like a firm gumdrop than that hard chewiness characteristic of most gummy candy. A gummy for grownups. On the other hand, the ones that are manufactured in Germany aren't nearly as good - muted lemon and kind-of-ginger flavors, no warmth, more overt sweetness, harder and more prone to stick to your teeth. Two orders since mid-October 2017 have both been German origin. Won't be ordering any more unless the Austrian issue makes a return to Amazon's stock.

I saw a bag of this just tonight at a local store that's good at stocking International and Foodie favorites that aren't so easy to find, and, oh my God, I swear this was love at first bite! The lemon flavor here is the prevalent one when the candy first hits your palate, if you opt to bite down and chew these up. Just after that initial burst of lemon flavor, the ginger works its way through a rather woodsy flavor, so you get the pleasure of lemon segueing into ginger, with a final spicy ginger bite at the end. The sanding sugar adds just enough sweetness and great crunchy texture to a soft, delicious gummy that is my ABSOLUTE favorite gummy that I've EVER had the pleasure of eating! I'm not a fan of overly sweet candies (friends tease me because I've been known to shave 3/4 of the chocolate off of regular Snickers bars, since they're too sweet for me), and these are absolutely PERFECT! Dang! Send me five 12 pack boxes of this stuff STAT!!! SO good!!! If you're a lover of ginger, and already know the deliciousness that comes with pairing ginger with lemon, don't wait to get your hands on this candy - it's SO what you're looking for!!! YUMMY!!!

I’m addicted to these. I know sugar isn’t the best but better then other addictions! They are the best gummy, ginger is my favorite flavor and these are strong. Great deal!

These candies are very addictive. Not too spicy, but you do feel a little burn in the aftertaste. They're about the size of a quarter each. The texture is like a cross between a gum drop and a fruit gelee, which is unlike the typical Haribo texture (e.g. Golden Bears). Warms you up inside on a cold winter day. Recommended if you love ginger like me!

Paid over £4 for a bag of sweets I’ve previously purchased for £1. Naively, I thought there was more bags for the money. I’d recommend finding alternative source.
