My previous one felt very plasticky, looked quite cheap, didn’t fit properly, and the soft-close wasn’t working at all. This one is a massive improvement in every way.It feels heavy-duty and very well made, fits perfectly, and instantly made the bathroom look much nicer and more modern. The soft-close works smoothly and quietly, and the seat itself feels solid and comfortable with no wobble at all.As someone experienced with DIY, I found the installation process very straightforward and hassle-free. Everything lined up properly and it was fitted in no time.Overall, I absolutely love it and it genuinely made a big difference to the look and feel of my bathroom. Great quality for the price and highly recommended.

I had a REAL fight to get the old loo seat off so when it came to fitting this I was a little apprehensive but it took minutes to fit this new seat at most. The installation instructions are simple to follow, it came with everything you'd need including seals to go under the fixtures so the lid doesn't scratch the porcelain of the toilet, it's a slow closing lid and is solid wood so it looks nice.

Not easy to find green wooden toilet seats with gold coloured hardware. This wooden (MDF) toilet seat is the perfect dark heritage green colour, and the hardware matches without looking cheap and garish. The toilet seat was relatively easy to fit, the instructions on the packaging box were not exactly clear, I had instructions from a different toilet seat I had fitted which helped with the install of this one. The seat has quick release buttons help with removability for easy cleaning. The seat doesn’t slide around after fitting and the seat is comfortable to sit on and is the right size. The soft close is not too slow to close and works as expected. The only thing the lid does show fingerprints where you lift the lid.

Took me a long time to find something sturdy and pleasing on the eye and in this I have found exactly what I was looking for. In fact I bought 2, one for the bathroom and the other for downstairs. I love the tongue and groove look on the lid, fitting was simple and quick and the black looks very smart

Easy to fit, looks and feels substantial.

It looks ok but the fixing nut as it’s plastic comes loosed and the seat is moving. If you change the nuts with metal then it’s 5 out of 5

Much stronger than I expected for the price. Looks really good. Previously had a white wooden seat, but this one is more stylish, in my opinion!

Nicely made, easy to fit and look good in the bathroom with good soft-close - but my god, this is the hardest edged, most uncomfortable toilet seat ever - my whole family (of all shapes and sizes) hate it. It literally leaves red welts on your legs and butt when you sit on it for more than a minute. Desperately needs better contours and softer profiled edges. Avoid.

Typically, Amazon can be trusted to sell a product that can be trusted to perform as specified. This was not the case regarding THIS product, which we had (just) purchased through them.Statement of the subject issue – Your product (a simple toilet seat) referenced above, was carefully selected to meet each of our needs and preferences. And when I opened the package, I was very impressed with your toilet seat carefully nestled inside.Having an installation problem. – My initial pleased reaction “came to a screeching halt” when, carefully, faithfully following your (very minimal) instructive diagram. Proceeding to the second step and carefully using the fasteners, etc., you had provided, suddenly I found they didn’t work.What went wrong – It was instantly obvious when the two per side, screw-type fasteners for attaching the toilet lid failed to remain fastened. The seat then had NO connection to its rim and was thus no use whatsoever! Being unable to install that portion of your toilet seat, I came to realize that because I was not able to complete my task as planned, I was left without a seat for my toilet. And now left with a different problem to solve.Now what? I have two problems to address. As your customer, I’m concerned with just one of the 2. Now that the produced product fails when properly installed, and yet have put them in the hands of customers such as ME.My own damages are minimal (but not my feelings)I have a toilet seat that is unusable, ruined.To make it functional I set out to make repairs.The temporary ‘make-shift” repair consisted of finding and installing replacement fasteners of a proper larger diameter.But now, the fasteners I chose were 1 thread too long. “Mine” were able to fasten as needed but penetrated and marked the seat.So now, I’ve made your toilet seat to nearly function as it was made to do by YOU and then sold to and repaired by me, your dissatisfied customer.
