Scosche EAFH Single AGU Fuse Holder

I used this fuseholder for connecting a solar panel to the solar controller, and between the battery and the solar controller in a conversion van. I was using 12 gauge wire, and the fuseholder worked fine. The construction quality was much better than I expected, and it gripped the fuses tightly (which is very desirable). Overall, this was a great deal. If you need a high-current fuseholder, this one is a winner. Oh, and it looks good too!Oh, a tip: the allen wrench used to clamp the wire uses a metric size. Make sure you have metric allen wrenches available.Oh, tip #2: Whenever you route a wire (especially a big wire) to the battery in a car, you should *always* mount a fuse within about a foot from the battery. This will protect your car in the event of a short circuit between the wire and the car frame. I repeat, ALWAYS FUSE THE POWER WIRES FOR AFTERMARKET WIRING IN A CAR!!!

It performs as it should, but the plastic breaks easily. Luckily it's not a piece of hardware that should see a lot of movement. The plastic threads cracked when I tried to get the fuse to seat properly.

Doesn't come with a fuse already and that is fine. Felt solid enough and it is the basic fuse design. I had two different 4 gauge wires wired to this fuse and if you have some extra insulated cables the weather seal will not fit over it so you just will have to do without.Does it's job and that was all I needed.

I ordered a Scosche AGU fuse holder to finish my install and was sent a ANL fuse holder, which would have been fine if I had wanted a ANL fuse holder

Product looks fine, but it shows a fuse in the picture. It doesn't come with a fuse, so now I have to order a fuse. take the fuse out of the picture if you aren't going to include the fuse.

Ive had this product for a couple months now.I wasnt sure about this product when i first saw it because the price was so low, but it surprised me with its quality, its strong and easy to use and fits my 8 guage wire and probably fits 4 gauge too. it holds up extremely well against the heat coming from the engine. under my hood it dangles sometimes and has fallen on very hot spots of the engine, and barely had any damage. one time i blew a fuse, the fuse literally popped inside of the Scosche holder, but it held up well, the inside is charred but the plastic is still holding strong, and the connection is strong My Amp receives powerId recommend this product to my friends and family, because it is absolutely perfect at what it does.8/5

I installed it with 8 gauge wire and it worked great for three years. But now I'm upgrading, so I switched it with 4 gauge wire, which requires a bit more torque on the set screw, and the screw stripped, so now it's useless.

I ordered 4 of these to fuse protect my boat batteries from my charger.. Great connection to my 8 gauge wire, and working great.
