1915 Victorian Brass Telescope – 14" Antique Nautical Spyglass with Wooden Tripod | Vintage Maritime Decor & Collectible

Love it. Everything we hoped.

I’m so please with this item! It looks beautiful on our mantle. I love the color. The tripod wood is stained with a rich cherry wood color with brass hardware, and the spyglass is a rich black and brass accents that gives it a nice vintage look. The legs on the tripod are adjustable which allows me to adjust the height, as well as the width. I needed it to fit on our 7-1/2” wide mantle. I presently have spyglass at about 13” high in the center. The legs set mid way, and expanded about 7” apart (in photo). If legs are fully postured it would be closer to 15” high. Spyglass has adjustable tilt which allows for additional height. Better than expected.

The first one I received had a broken leg on the tripod and large spots in the lens so I returned it and they sent me a new one right away. I can’t say enough about Amazon’s excellent return policy. Both were wrapped and packaged impressively so I don’t think the damage on the first one was due to improper packaging. The replacement was perfect and is a great addition to my nautical decor. So glad I didn’t give up on it and very pleased with my purchase.

Very nice looking piece, good quality. I rated only 4 starts due to packaging. Although wrapped well in bubble wrap and paper, that is all it was wrapped in. No box or any way to wrap for gift. Really takes away from piece when gifting when just wrapped in bubble wrap.

Decent value for the price. It looks good with other nautical items.

Love my replica French telescope. Works well and looks extremely cool.
