8 Tons 9 Dies Hydraulic Crimping Tool, Industrial Hydraulic Cable Lug Crimper Tool 4-70mm²

Very impressed with this tool. Having used other hand operated crimping tools, this hydraulic one creates a much stronger and neater crimp. It produces something similar to what you'd expect when buying a professionally made product. It comes in an adequate case, although the dies sometimes shift in the box if handled roughly. The working end of the tool fits into places that other manual tools will not, it's a very compact size for its strength. Working as a HGV Mechanic, I have been able to use it on several occasions and can't fault it so far

Needed a big crimper for doing a mixture of 35-185mm tails as the one i previously had, packed up. This unit comes in a sturdy case, the dyes are very good quality. The release valve has good adjustment levels, which is quite important when crimping in situ cables. The crimping force required for a secure connection is quite alot, so I'm not entirely convinced about the 12 Tonnes of pressure it can apparantely apply. But overall I would recommend it, as it is far cheaper than the branded units and performs almost as good.

The instructions were not very clear I guess due to poor translation into English but the tool works well and is easy to use. Mine came with more dies than spaces for them in the box so one pair are just loose but overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

This came in very handy and saved me alot of time very well built does lots of different size wires well worth the money and very easy to use

Superb it of kit. Don't buy the cheaper crimpers on amazon buy this one. Perfect job.

Good built quality

Good quality crimper, you get what you pay for, worth 30quid but with regular use don't expect it to last more than a year.

I was on the cusp of returning this item as like many others had issues with poor crimp connections with a multipack of ring lugs also purchased from Amazon . Going down a size crushed the terminal. I purchased some decent terminals from toolstation UK and got a perfect tight crimp with the correct sized die. So the tool is not the problem here if you use decent terminal lugs. Reccomend for the price .
