Lovely, sharp, robust scissors. Perfect size. Of course, being so sharp, care must be taken when cutting around sides of nail. But, being easy to use , this should not be a problem. I had a pair of Ernest Wright & Son nail scissors for years which were, to me, the créme de la créme but sadly, the owner passed away and the new company, although they still make superlative scissors, do not do nail ones. However, I am delighted to have discovered 3 Swords, with whom I shall purchase nail scissors from in the future. Very good price for quality of this kind.

I donated one of these that I bought when I thought I couldn't find them. Then I found them both. Then, I passed one on to my sister's partner, and he rates these for his foot care routine. But my sister finds using these scissors difficult, which is due to her slight rheumatism in one hand. If you're finding that your nails on your feet are tough to cut, I recommend nibbling at the nail with the tip of the scissors. This is by watching how nurses have cut patients' nails, and this is the way they operate. This uses the lever principle to cut your nails. Making short contact with the tips of the blades on your troublesome nail. So I mean, don't try to use the whole blade to make a big cut, with an all-at-once effort.

Very sharp and polished metal, but the screw keeps coming loose and it needs constant retightening

Easy to handle very sharp so suitable for toe nails as well as fingernails. Solid and strong highly recommend

Good quality product and works well for most nails not quite strong enough for my big toenails though
