The small size lets me carry it everywhere I go legally and it still gets the job done for me. I use this to cut threads, open boxes, and clean the excess glue off of glass slides before putting them on the stage to my microscope. Everybody that sees this knife gasps at how beautiful it is and they delight in playing with it. Yes it is tiny but it has smooth edges all around and doesn't have rough edges when close. I even sent it thought the washing machine once and it still looks great but the finish on the wood isn't as good as it once was but of course that is my fault but even still it looks wonderful.
