I bought this deerstalker for my great nephew and was extremely happy because it was perfect. It was sewn expertly and packaged with care. So, I sent it off in the mail. Unfortunately, it was my first time out to the post office since the Covid19 pandemic began, and I was anxious to leave, so I forgot to request a signature at delivery. As Murphy would have it, the package was lost. Oh well. So, I ordered another one. This one was also pretty good, but not as perfect as the first one, so I was disappointed. When I took it out of the plastic bag, it was folded and not well pressed, so it looked a bit cheap. Part of the inner lining was pressed showing along the edge of the cap. It wasn't awful, but it was missing the elegance of the first hat. I didn't try to iron it, but it probably could be. Anyway, my nephew was thrilled with it and didn't notice the likely fixable imperfections. It's not a Harris Tweed, and the price reflects that. I think it's a good value for the price. If you get one perfectly packaged ones, you'll have an excellent value for the price. If you iron well, you'll also have an excellent value for the price. But, I don't think you should have to iron it, so it gets 4 stars from me (5 stars for the first hat, 3 stars for the second.)
