ALLWEI International Travel Adapter 220V to 110V Power Voltage Converter

Serious peace of mind when we were in Zambia, Africa, and our hotel had maybe 3 outages. Power surge worked great. Used for my curling iron, hot rollers, phone, battery back up. I would not take a chance and use hot rollers with curling iron, just to be safe. I used it in the airport to charge my phone off a wallet outlet. So wonderful!!! Thank you for this amazing converter! I just took plugs C, D, G for Zambia. No need to bring all of them. I used my label maker to put the letter on each of the converter just to know.

Mind you I received this back in 2023 but its never too late to share how a product acted. I needed this adapter for a travel across the pond in Eastern Europe. I hope to use it more in the future, as the only countries I have used it in are. Bosnia & Italy. Anyway, it worked well and made the "charging of a phone" a simple experience. Vast amount of different plugs. There was a moment when I thought I was gonna accidently cause a fire and burn down the hotel. When I plugged in the plug into the main box a spark came out and I immediately pulled it out. After that it seemed to be fine and without any more near fires, all was good.Good product and value for the money.

The USB ports work, but there is something that my iphone doesn't like when charging. It appears to be charging fine, but when using a sound app at night, it kept shutting off the sound that normally plays until I shut it off in the morning. Thought the phone or app was the problem. It happened two nights in a row. Third night I plugged a USB charger into an adapter (not a voltage converter), and all was well again.Unit does come with many adapters that you can plug a USB charger into, and also has has a nice bag for traveling.

Took this traveling around England, and it worked amazingly well!

ESSENTIAL FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL, makes a much appreciated gift to newer travelers. I have two and have gifted several to travel friends and grandchildren. THIS ONE IS THE MOST USEFUL. I decided to write a review when I was buying again as a gift. I’ve bought similar items from more familiar names over the years, but this is the converter that goes in my carry on.Traveling internationally involves strange situations…The language may be strange but manageable with Google Translate. In Paris you won’t need a French phrase book.The money looks strange but your Visa will be your mainstay.The food is sometimes strange but your waiter can guide you through the menu.The plumbing fixtures are always strange but eventually manageable.The one strange element that you can’t just wing it is the electrical system.Allwei to the rescue! You have a variety for all the strange plugs, but then you connect the main unit and touch the little button and you have access to familiar plugins and electrical current for all your essential electronic devices and chargers. I love the multiple USB ports!I can relax knowing that my electronics will be ready for use!

It worked as described in Ghana. No issues with recharging my three devices.

i have been very happy with this when traveling around the US for charging my USB devices, and it seemed to have the adapters for most any travel i would do. however; i when to Ireland recently and had unacceptable issues. The UK plug adaptor did not work in over half of the places i went. i would plug it all together and the system would get no power or shut off after about 1 second. when that happened i used a plug adapter my wife had to connect the ALLWEI Travel Voltage Converter and it would always work. so there seemed to be some kind up issue with the plug adapter. i also found that is i had the ALLWEI Travel Voltage Converter turned on and used the American plug for my MacBook charger, the charger would go on and off and not charge my laptop.... i had to use a USB port or another adapter to pug it in directly.there were 2 places in Ireland that use a plug that had three round pins (i guess it is the D type) and the one that came with the ALLWEI Travel Voltage Converter worked. my wife's multi plug adapter block did not have that built is so i don't know if we could have done any charging with out this ALLWEI Travel Voltage Converter. (maybe the EU one would with using just the top two pins??)over all i had been happy with it even with traveling in the US. i like that is has an cord so i am not trying to hang things off of the wall plug, but if i did not have other options when in Ireland it would have been a disaster for me. it seems that maybe just replacing the one UK plug adapter would work, but i wont really feel confident until it is tested more. will i have similar issues in other countries?? i am not sure i can count on it when i travel now. :-(
