This is a great idea. I purchased one for my husband. I had a photo of our beloved cat, who had just died and added a caption saying, 'My best friend'. Be warned, when the mug arrived, it was black. The photo only appears when hot water is added!

I love this cup such a great way to add a little bit of fun to a gift and the surprise of the photo when revealed. All in all great mug as well, can see the writing coming through a little but that's not a big deal, Partner found it very funny when put there tea in to see my face all over it.

Got it with my new born’s picture for my husband as a gift. He was confused with the black mug but when I poured tea into it, he was surprised. The photo was little bit visible when the mug is not hot but fortunately my husband didn’t notice it before I poured the hot drink in it.
